An alcohol-based thermometer suitable for measuring the temperature of various cosmetic compositions and liquid substances in general. The body is made of heat-resistant glass and contains no mercury.
It is not ideal for measuring in cold-processed soaps (CP), but can be used eventually for small batches.

The thermometer comes with a very practical plastic packaging, so it can be transported or stored safely. The thermometer has a shorter length than the usual laboratory thermometers, it is about 15 cm long and that's why I find it easier to use.

I got several to make sure I always have some on hand in case I break one. I use it in candles, soaps, creams, everything. I like that it measures the temperature from inside the composition, not from the surface (like the infrared ones), and for the price it's great. It reads very quickly and reacts immediately to temperature changes.
