Repairing, soothing mask
Formula: 54930 Difficulty level: beginner Shelf life: min 3 months pH optimal: 6.0-6.5

Phase Ingredients Dosage % Total 100 gr
A cupuacu butter 4 4 gr
A emulsifier olliva 6 6 gr
B distilled water 69 69 gr
B natural chelator 0,10 0,10 gr
B glycerine 3 3 gr

D cosgard 0,80 0,80 gr

1. Mix the liquid ingredients of phase B and sprinkle xanthan gum with vigorous mixing. Heat the ingredients of phase A and B separately up to 70°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, or hand temperature, add the premixed Phase C ingredients to a blender and blend thoroughly until smooth.

5. Add phase D and mix thoroughly. Measure pH and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the mixture to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final on the next day.

Cream mask suitable for dry, damaged, sensitive skin. Removes impurities, moisturises and helps to restore the skin barrier. Apply 1-3 times a week to clean skin; rinse off after about 15 minutes.

Hello Valentina, Instead of olliva emulsifier we recommend Vegemuls and Plant HP30, with the mention that the dosage may differ depending on the formula. Without testing, unfortunately we cannot give you exact amounts. We recommend you prepare the recipe with a smaller amount and adjust the percentages if necessary.

Hello, Theoretically you can replace white clay with green clay or lotus powder with manjista powder, but the recipe is designed for dry skin. We do not recommend cupuacu butter for oily, acne-prone or comedone skin.

Hello. Would this mask be beneficial for an acne-prone complexion if I replace white clay with green clay, lotus powder with manjishta powder , in addition to removing glycerin and or possibly replace it? Thank you!

Hello! The waiter is mandatory in this formula to ensure optimal preservation. We do not have a substitute. If you prepare the mask without this ingredient, the shelf life is shorter, several weeks.

Hello! The Chelator is necessary for the preservation of the product. The dosage is very small, so the preparation will contain only 0.001% ethanol, so insignificant, no need to worry.
