Hello Zoia, Theoretically you can make the recipe with replacing the ricinoleate zinc with lemonester, but without increasing the percentage of alum, which can contribute to the cutting of the emulsion.

Hello, I would like to make this cream deodorant recipe but with the active ingredients of the recipe Deodorant gel with Alaun , i.e. lemonester + alum stone, without zinc ricinoleate. Is it possible to replace the zinc & decalcate with 4% lemonester in phase A and increase the percentage of alum to 3%? I ask this because I like the alum gel recipe in terms of efficacy but would prefer it in cream form, which is why I also bought the Liqua emulsifier... Thank you for your time and your wonderful ingredients and recipes!

Your own recipe does not contain water, therefore pH is not relevant. In general, fluid deodorants are slightly acidic, the acidic environment being optimal for the effectiveness of deodorant actives such as lemonester, alaun or decalact. As mentioned in the previous comment, we do not recommend baking soda in this recipe, but with lemonester you can try it.

Green clay can be added, but it may leave traces on skin and clothes. Baking soda is not recommended in this formula. Lemonester in principle can be included, but without testing we can't give you a percentage or the right phase.

What is the best ph for an acid or alkaline deodorant? I have my own recipe with green clay 3gr, lemongrass 2gr, bicarbonate 3gr and rice powder 2gr all with shea butter 50ml grammage, I measured and it has 8 ph. If I do the fresh all day recipe I can't include the bicarb it seems. Or I have to choose bicarbonate or lemonester. Which would be more ok of the 2? Which one can I do without in the recipe if both are not indicated?

Can I add bicarbonate and green clay to the recipe? And lemongrass? If so what would be the grams? Thank you.

Hi Victoria Maria. I haven't tested it, but in principle you can include lemonester in phase A instead of some of the caprylis.

Hello Daniela! We are very glad that you like the recipe, and that the prepared deodorant is useful for you. Unfortunately, a replacement for the Fluida emulsifier we can't recommend, only with this one we were able to obtain a sufficiently fluid emulsion with the optimal texture for a deodorant.

Hello. I have prepared the recipe twice, with some modifications (glycerin I replaced it with glycerite of cistus incanus; I added to phase C allantoin and vit. E, etc.). It turned out great. Moreover, it works EXTRAORDINAR on the deodorizing part. Thank you for all you do. I wasn't paying attention and ran out of Fluida. Could I replace it with something else that gives the same consistency to the preparation? Thank you.
