1. Heat the ingredients of phases A and B separately to 75°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth. Add phase C and homogenize.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, or hand temperature, add the Phase D ingredients and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Measure pH and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the composition to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final on the next day.

The result is a cream with a very light and pleasant texture that absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves it moisturised and velvety all day long. Rich in moisturising, repairing, anti-ageing actives, with a modern formula and superior sensorial profile. Suitable for normal, combination and oily skin. Unscented, it has a fine vegetal scent.

Instead of Niacinamide 1%, you can add Allantoin 0,2% 2. Instead of Dermofiller 1%, Peptide-coll also 1% 3, Instead of Hyaluron 0,3% and the difference of Niacinamide 0,8%, introduce 1% Panthenol respectively you can add max 0,2% vitamin A, without eliminating vitamin E, which has antioxidant effect, Urea and zinc oxide are not compatible with this recipe. We recommend checking the pH of the cream at the end and adjusting it if necessary.

If I omit Niacinamide (I will create the serum with Niacinamide), what could I replace it with and in what proportion? I would like to achieve maximum moisturizing effect. Would Betaine be an option? Or could Hyaluronic Acid LMW be added in addition to the Oligo version? Or suggest me your best options for maximum moisturizing. Thanks.

Hi Dana, You can do the replacement by using 4% Softdermo Eco and adjusting the difference in the water. Due to the properties of this preservative we recommend adjusting the pH to max 5.5.

Hello! The recipe does not contain sunscreen, for recipes with sunscreen go to the EsseSol sheet where we have some examples. Collagen can also be added to the recipe, no more than 1% in phase D. All the best!

Hello! The formula can be enriched with vitamin C ascorbyl palmitate variant, we recommend about 2% in phase A, decreasing the dosage of passion fruit oil accordingly.

Hello! The recipe is suitable for dry acne-prone skin. You could add collagen, in phase D, but in a rather small dosage; we could recommend 1% at most so as not to risk destabilizing the emulsion. Thank you for your comments,

Hello! You can make the suggested changes, with the caveat that the maximum dosage recommended by the manufacturer for niacinamide is 4%.
