Hello! All ingredients, whether liquids or solids, can be weighed and this method is also the most accurate. The recipe also contains solid ingredients, so you need to use the scales anyway. Good luck!

Hello! Basically, you can increase the dosage of the ivy extract, in which case the product will feel stickier on the skin. You can enrich the formula with Slim-activ, in phase B before the xanthan. Reduce the dosage of one water accordingly. The grapefruit essential oil in the recipe makes the product photosensitizing.

Hello! To include the indicated amount of ivy extract in the recipe, use two 10 ml bottles (in this case it would be a little less than 20 gr due to the density) or you can purchase the ivy extract variant at 100 ml, in which case you also have some left over for further preparations.

Hello, Please tell me, for 20 g of ivy extract, how much should I put if the bottle of extract is 10 ml? 2 vials? Or what is the concentration of ivy in one bottle? Thank you.

Hello! Grapefruit essential oil can be used for perfuming creams, with the caveat that it also has photosensitizing molecules in its composition, so it is not recommended to apply it on skin areas that will be exposed to the sun. In the right dosage (0.1-2% in general, and up to 5% in massage or silhouette formulas) it does not dry out the skin. As for destabilization of a mixture, this depends on the formula.

Hello, grapefruit essential oil can be used for perfuming cosmetic creams, or has skin drying properties, destabilizing the mixture, etc.?

Hello. It can be scaled up, but take into account the rather unpleasant odor which will be stronger in this case.

Hello Nicoleta. In principle you can make such a modification to the recipe, and the gel without essential oil can be used during pregnancy. We can also recommend a new active ingredient that can be included instead of essential oil: Slim Activ.
