1. Heat the ingredients of phases A and B separately to 70°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth. Add phase C and homogenize.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, or hand temperature, add the Phase D ingredients and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Transfer the mixture to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final the next day.

Hello Elena, Since bakuchiol, unlike retinol A, does not sensitize the skin and does not cause irritation in sunlight, you can use it at any time of the year. If you have more sensitive skin, test it in the crease of your elbow, and if your skin reddens in the sun, use the product only in the evening before bed.

Hello Nadia, In principle the formula you suggest is fine. Instead of Cosgard we recommend PE preservative, percentage between 0,8-1,0%. For this recipe, because of the Liqua emulsifier, the one pot technique is not recommended. Good luck!

Hello! Based on this recipe, I formulated the following serum: Squalan 10% Emulsifying Liqua 3% Water ..... Sodium PCA 2% Niacinamide 5% HA HMW 0,5 % , and as a gelling agent HA Oligo 0.5 % Preservative ? I wouldn't like to use cosgard as a preservative, I want something mild as I have sensitive skin following retinoid treatment. Considering the stability of niacinamide at a certain Ph, which preservative would you advise me to use? I would also like to know if in this case I can use the one can method ? Thanks!

Hi Tom, The LMW is the most suitable choice for Oligo hyaluronic acid displacement, as the HMW also has a gelling consistency effect. Have a nice day!

Hello, We recommend BS preservative, 1%. The difference will adjust by decreasing the percentage of water. Have a sunny day!

Hello Bianca, You can add vitamin A to the recipe in the percentage indicated in the product description, proportionally reducing the amount of oils. Beware of the photosensitizing effect of the cream following vitamin A fortification. For sensitive skin, use a cream with SPF.

Hello! I encountered several times a small problem with the scale. On phase A and B I have no problems but on phase C sometimes I keep getting a minus and the grams keep dropping...how can I fix it? Today my xanthan gum weighed ok but a.h.LMW did not , I touched the glass with my finger but nothing...I also put new batteries the other day. With which teaspoon could I weigh 0. 15gr.? Thanks!

Hello! If you are using the serum in a relatively short term of a couple of weeks, then it is not obligatory to add chelator.
