Hello, You can generally add 1-5% cosmetic ingredients to the cream base, in some cases up to 10%; the optimal percentage depends on the type and solubility of the ingredients. This percentage of EsseSol together with zinc oxide does not give sufficient sun protection. To ensure the right percentage of sunscreen ingredients, complex formulas containing waxes and other emulsion-stabilizing ingredients are required. Have a sunny day!

Hello I could replace EsseSol filter with non-nano zinc oxide. If so, in what percentage and what should I change in the recipe? Thank you very much.

Hello Cristina, For a more fluid, lighter cream, we recommend eliminating the Carnauba wax and increasing the Karanja oil proportionally. Take into consideration, that wax has both the role of co-emulsifier and stabilizer of the emulsion as well as the role of forming a water resistant layer. Its removal will negatively affect the water resistance of the cream.

Hello Cristina, In principle, yes, you can add EsseSol 30%. Decrease the percentage of water proportionally. Have a wonderful summer!

Kedves NIkolett, Ebben a receptben a Fragardot két külön fázisban kell a készítményhez adni, a megadott mennyiségekben. Szépép napot kívánunk!

Dear Katalin, any sunscreen without nanoparticles and containing mineral filters - not just home-made ones - will leave your skin looking whitish. It is up to you to decide whether or not to add pigment to tint it, it is optional. We recommend that you perhaps make a small amount first to see how well the results suit you.

Dear Elemental, How yellow does it make the white skin?! Do I need that yellow pigment?! It's a bit tiresome that all the creams stain my clothes and towels, it's difficult or impossible to wash them, I'm sometimes brown and sometimes yellow, although white is not bad either. Is there a sunscreen recipe that doesn't make me or my clothes colourless?!

Hello! Unfortunately, other emulsifier can't be used without reformulating and testing the recipe. The Fluida emulsifier is no longer manufactured, but I have left the recipe version accessible for those interested. The new batch of Liqua should arrive in the coming days.

Hello! The Liqua or Fluida Emusifiant are not in stock. Can something else be used in their place to prepare this lotion? Thanks for your answer!
