1. Have all utensils and equipment ready on the workbench, within easy reach. Make the necessary ingredient measurements from the recipe. From the amount of water weigh 20 g separately into a beaker in which the clay is dispersed.

2. In a heat-resistant bowl add the distilled water, over which little by little add the Sodium Hydroxide and stir slowly, carefully, until it dissolves completely and the solution becomes transparent. Allow the solution to cool to about 40-45°C.

3. Heat the oils and butter in a separate heatproof dish on a bain-marie at about 45°C until the butter melts

4. Transfer the oils to a container with a volume of more than 300 ml, or you can use the bowl in which they were heated if it is large enough. Slowly pour the sodium hydroxide solution over the oils. Both should be of similar temperature.
Place the blender in the bowl and blend until the composition becomes the consistency of a more liquid pudding, at which point add the clay dissolved in water and then the essential oil. Mix thoroughly with the blender.

5. Transfer the mixture to the soap mould. Spray the surface of the soap with alcohol to prevent the formation of sodium carbonate. Cover with foil and leave for 2 days in a cool place. Once the soap has hardened, it can be removed from the mould

6. The soap is then left to ripen in a well-ventilated place, on shelves or in covered boxes (but not closed to allow air circulation). Maturation takes a minimum of 4 weeks from the date of production, during which time the soap is not used as it is still reactive.

Hello! Since the saponification index of these two oils are the same, yes, you can make the substitution without recalculating the recipe. Good luck!

Hello! You can replace the refined Shea butter with the unrefined one. At the moment you do not have it in stock and I would like to finalize an order. Thank you and all appreciation for what you do!

Hello! Saponification of oils cannot be achieved with salt or reetha powder, you need sodium hydroxide - without this ingredient you will not get a soap.

Hello! You can use dried lavender flower instead of clay, keep in mind that it will be brownish, it will not keep its color. Alkanet powder you can macerate it in practically any vegetable oil of the soap recipe, the shade that results in the end depends on the dosage and the rest of the ingredients. We suggest testing on a small amount of soap to see what results you can get. Good luck!

Hi, I have a question, we have studied the soap recipe and the water seems very little to us, is it possible that this is a mistake? Thank you...
