1. Mix the liquid ingredients of phase B and sprinkle xanthan gum with vigorous mixing. Heat the ingredients of phase A and B separately up to 75°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, or hand temperature, add the phase C ingredients and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Measure pH and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the composition to the dedicated container. Consistency will be final the next day.

Pleasant to wear but at the same time rich in active ingredients, it is a day cream with moisturising, anti-ageing, anti-irritant and soothing action. It forms a fine non-greasy layer on the skin. Contains no perfuming ingredients or essential oils, has a pleasant vegetal scent. Can be applied even on the eyelids and around the eyes. It has a smooth, creamy texture, absorbs easily, leaves skin velvety soft, without an oily or sticky layer.

Hi Eleonora, Thank you for your insight. Yes, you are partly right, they do not need to be heated, but our tests over the years have shown that they do not show any negative change when heated in small quantities for short periods. Have a nice day!

Thank you very much for the lovely recipes. I was wondering what you think about heating oils that are high in linoleic acid. I was always taught that these should not be heated above 40 degrees Celsius. I see in many emulsions that you have this fragile oil in the fat phase. Can you provide clarity? Kind Regard!

Hello! From the ingredients you listed HMW hyaluronic acid can give a shiny appearance to the skin, but it all depends on the whole formula, including what emulsifiers were used, what ratio of fatty phase/aqueous phase, what other humectants etc. It may help if a smaller amount of cream is applied and spread well.

Hello, Question about hyaluronic acid HMW. In another oily skin cream recipe I used 0.5% HMW. Is there a possibility that from the hyaluronic acid hmw the appearance of the skin is slightly shiny/glossy? I should mention that I also added in the cream in moderate proportions: silk protein, marine-z, schisandra extract, niacinamide, rice powder, matcha milk, coenzyme Q10. Or if you can please tell me if any cosmetic active/ingredient can create a shiny complexion? Thank you!

Hello! The emulsion did not form correctly, and unfortunately, it cannot be saved. Somewhere you made a mistake during the preparation, either in the dosing of the ingredients, or in combining the phases, or in the wrong temperature or mixing.

Good evening! I've made many formulas...but something like this never happened to me. The cream hardened in a minute...and in a minute it cut. Can I save it? Now it is very fluid ???

Hello! Be careful how you work with the mixer, which incorporates air during emulsification, especially if a small volume of cream is prepared and the mixer propeller is not submerged enough in the composition. Thanks for your appreciation,

Hello! That cream has the texture of a serum, it is quite fluid. The formula can be thought further to get a more watery texture by decreasing the dosage of oils and increasing the dosage of water accordingly. But it has to be tried, tested.

Hello! Do you think I could get a more watery texture to the Summer Cream Formula: 51477 I would like it to be more fluid than it is initially. What could I do? I am writing here because comments are closed for summer cream. And last but not least thank you very much for the support you offer.

Floral water you can include, at most 15%, but aloe vera gel cannot, as it has an acidic pH and can create problems with emulsification. Bella emulsifier is finicky at the pH of the aqueous phase. Have a nice day!

Hello, I have one more question, I would like to introduce in the formula aloe vera gel 15% and flower water 15% and reduce the silver water accordingly. Is it ok to do so? Thanks a lot!

Thank you for the immediate reply, you are wonderful indeed! I have read that retinol is a derivative of vit A , now out of ignorance , I thought I can use it for anti wrinkle potency. I wish you a day full of sunshine in your soul and feelings!

Hello! You can add vitamin A in the C phase, follow the dosage indicated in the product leaflet. Please note that vitamin A in our range is not retinol but retinyl palmitate.
