Hello Nadia, To the organic cream base you can generally add 1-5% ingredients, in some cases up to 10%; the optimal percentage depends on the type and solubility of the ingredients. In order not to destabilize the cream, we recommend adding ingredients up to max. 5-6%. Decrease bakuchiol to 1% and niacinamide to 3%.

Hello! I would like to add the following ingredients to the organic cream base: - sodium PCA 1% - bakuchiol 2% - hyaluronic acid Oligo 1% - niacinamide 5% Do you think that too high percentage of ingredients will destabilize the cream? On another note, what would be the optimal PH? Thanks!

Hello Cristina, BS Preservative can be used to protect a variety of cosmetic products, in particular aqueous systems and emulsions, with pH between 2 - 5.5. In the case of this recipe the proposed substitution is not recommended. In recipe 29714 the substitution of the two floral waters can be made. Have a sunny day!

Hello. Please can you give me a hand. Can I replace the cosgard with BS preservative? I am out of preservative and the situation can't bear postponement until the preservative arrives. On another note..in 29714 formula is it ok if I replace witch hazel water with rose water? Thanks!

Hello Amalia, Careful formulation of the recipe and choice of oils in particular, this recipe is: A light-textured moisturizer suitable for combination or oily skin. It regulates the secretion of sebum, has moisturizing properties and restores the skin's natural barrier. Replacing oils may adversely affect the effects of the cream. We recommend preparing a small amount and testing it on your skin. Recommended oils from those you have listed would be jojoba, rice, white lily.

Hello Ana, You can increase the dosage of niacinamide to 10%. In this case add niacinamide to the aqueous phase, decreasing the amount of water at the same time. Good luck!

Hello! Check the pH value with the measuring tape and if needed then add a little lactic acid or sodium bicarbonate/arginine as needed. We will soon post a video to make the procedure easier to understand.

Hello! We do not recommend using expired ingredients. This recipe requires stabilizer, you can possibly use another gum such as guar gum, dosage about 0.3%,

Hello! For niacinamide we don't have a substitute with the same properties, it is an important one in the recipe, but practically, the cream can be prepared without this ingredient.
