Liqua Emulsifier – Performance for Lightweight Creams
Liqua Emulsifier is an emulsifier made from renewable raw materials, specifically designed to overcome technical challenges related to stabilizing low-viscosity emulsions and lightweight creams. Its structure offers exceptional formulation flexibility, demonstrating good tolerance in the presence of difficult-to-stabilize ingredients, while actively contributing to improving skin hydration levels.
A versatile, high-performance O/W emulsifier, particularly suitable for low-viscosity emulsions such as serums, lotions, and fluid creams with low oil content. It provides flexibility in formulation, allowing for a wide variety of sensory profiles to be created.
Ingredients (INCI): Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate (and) Polyglyceryl-6 Behenate.

Formulation Guide
- Recommended Dosage: Use between 2.5% and 4.0% of the total formula.
- Fat Phase Proportion: Recommended 10% - 30% for denser emulsions and 10% - 20% for fluid emulsions.
- Standard Method: Heat the oil phase and water phase separately to 75°C. Pour the hot oil phase into the hot water phase under continuous agitation, followed immediately by homogenization.
- Consistency Factors Setup: Generally combined with 1 - 3% consistency factors (Glyceryl stearate and Cetearyl alcohol recommended). For stability, add 0.2% - 0.7% xanthan gum.
- Xanthan Gum or ACX Gum is typically added after emulsion formation.

I use this emulsifier very often, I like the texture it gives to the products I use it in, it's natural and has visible effects on the skin.

A very good emulsifier for more liquid emulsions. It can NOT be substituted with other emulsifiers, it has its own particular characteristics, it is O/W (i.e. oil in water).
I'm still experimenting with it. I don't really know if I'm wrong or we haven't learned from each other yet, but my cream cut it.keep trying

I have been trying for a long time to create a body lotion, a lightweight formula that absorbs quickly and leaves the skin moisturized and non-greasy. With this emulsifier, I have succeeded. If other emulsifiers are perfect for creams and such, this one is perfect for serums and lotions! Just this one! With another product I have not been able to recreate that same smooth and fluid texture. I plan to create a milk cleanser as well then come back with reviews.

It is my favorite emulsifier. Versatile, tolerates electrolytes and urea, which is why I use it whenever I make urea creams/lotions. I love it.
