FORMULATION GUIDE
- Allows production of O/W emulsions based on standard hot processing and one-pot method.
- Suitable for difficult to incorporate ingredients like urea, ethanol, natural preservatives, electrolytes, UV-filters. Stable at pH 4.0-8.5
Use level
- Serums, sprayable emulsions: Liqua 2.5-4.0%, oil phase 10-20%, co-emulsifier* 0-1.2%, xanthan gum 0.1-0.3%
- Lotions, light emulsions: Liqua 2.5-4.0%, oil phase 10-30%, co-emulsifier* 0-3%, xanthan gum 0.2-0.5%
- Creams: Liqua 2.5-4.0%, oil phase 20-35%, co-emulsifier* 1.5-2.5%, xanthan gum 0.5-0.7% * co-emulsifier: Glycemul, Cetearyl alcohol
Processing: heat oil and water phase separately to approx. 75°C; add oil phase to water phase with stirring and homogenize; add xanthan gum and homogenize, cool down with gentle stirring, add next phases.

A very good emulsifier for more liquid emulsions. It can NOT be substituted with other emulsifiers, it has its own particular characteristics, it is O/W (i.e. oil in water).

I make some lotions and sprays with this ingredient (deodorant roll-on, cleaning gel for face with a little bit vegetable oil) I use it because I don t like when the product is dephased or such as biphased for exemple Great emulsifier :)

I have been trying for a long time to create a body lotion, a lightweight formula that absorbs quickly and leaves the skin moisturized and non-greasy. With this emulsifier, I have succeeded. If other emulsifiers are perfect for creams and such, this one is perfect for serums and lotions! Just this one! With another product I have not been able to recreate that same smooth and fluid texture. I plan to create a milk cleanser as well then come back with reviews.

Very good, I used it from the first one-pot (aqueous and oily phase in the same pot) as I always do with olliva and it didn't fail. I did the oligo.dermo-filler moisturizer and you look perfect
