A Babassu oil 8 12 gr
A Emulsifier Liqua 3 4,5 gr

1. Mix the liquid ingredients of phase B and sprinkle xanthan gum with vigorous stirring. Heat the ingredients of phase A and B separately up to 70°C in a heat-resistant glass on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth. Add phase C and homogenize.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, add the ingredients of phase D and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Measure pH and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the mixture to the dedicated container. Consistency will be final the next day.

The result is a fine emulsion, pleasant to apply, with a fruity-floral fragrance, moisturising, regenerating, emollient

Hello, You can use Softdermo Eco instead of Fragard preservative by adding 4% Softdermo to the finished cream in phase D. To make up the difference, adjust the amount of water used, i.e. measure the pH of the finished product and adjust to 5.5 if needed.

Hello! Can Softdermo Eco preservative be used in this formula? If yes, in what percentage and what modifications does the recipe require to make the preservative more effective?

Hello! We have a scar cream recipe, it is not available at the moment as it is under review, but it does not contain avocado oil but tamanu oil. A beneficial and quick solution for scarring would be Pracaxi oil, applied simply as such, or in a mix such as the Green gold global repair oil recipe (Formula: 36201).

Hello, I'm looking for an old recipe from you, the one you used for scars. Unfortunately I can't find it on the site or where I saved it. In the past I have used it for a keloid scar (following excision of a mole) and it worked excellent. It was with avocado oil. I wonder if this can be used for this purpose?

Hello! It is possible to enrich the recipe with Slim-activ, we recommend no more than 3% so as not to risk destabilization; add in phase C, increase the dosage of xanthan gum to 0.2% and decrease the dosage of water in phase B accordingly. Good luck!

Hello! Instead of sodium PCA you can also use other moisturizing ingredients: glycerin extracts (walnut, cucumber...), vegetable collagen, panthenol, silk protein, even hyaluronic acid.

The same amount can be used, but the xanthan gum should be increased to 0.2%.

Dear Martina, In this formula, in our experience, only Cetearyl alcohol can replace Glycemul. Have a nice day!

Without testing, we can't recommend replacing xanthan gum with guar gum, but it's possible it could work. Acacia gum wouldn't be suitable.

Hello, Replacing an emulsifier usually involves reformulating the recipe, and without practical testing, we cannot advise you. This lotion also has a moisturizing, nourishing effect or you can refer to the formula 822124/2012 or IN54336/2014. We hope we could be of help.

Hello, Is it possible to replace the emulsifying fluid with emulsifying protect? I'd like a lotion for dry, dehydrated skin, and from what I read in the leaflet of the Fluid Emulsifier, it is more suitable for combination, oily skin. I am very excited about your recipes and products :) ! Thank you!
