Hello! Distilled water is the most optimal choice as it is free of minerals and other substances, but still still mineral water or reverse osmosis filtered water are also good choices for home-made cosmetics. Good thoughts!

Hello! I used distilled water to prepare this deodorant. I like the result very much. What is the difference between pure water and distilled/silver water? Thanks in advance for your answer! Have a nice day! Cornelia

Hello! The old blender has not been available on our website for about a year, it was a small one with quite low power. The new blender has the Mayam logo, and is available in two versions: battery-operated and corded (electric powered).

Hello, Since I'm a novice in making cosmetics, I have a question: what's the difference between old and new mixer? I have a minimixer from Mayam with electric power, not on batteries. Thanks in advance!

Hello! Without testing we cannot confirm that you can use the powder in question; talc and silica are inert but the other ingredients may have an influence on the stability of the composition. It has to be tried. We have alum powder.

Hello, Please advise me if it is possible to use alum powder which has some other ingredients (talc, silica, magnesium oxide, alumina) as shown in the picture for deodorant recipes.I ordered it thinking it was just alum powder and I would like to use it in recipes so I don't buy again just the powder which is hard to find.

You can replace the water with floral water, which should not have a pH lower than pH 6.

Hello! Substitution can be made, we recommend adding to the oily phase of the lemonster, subtracting appropriately from the caprylis. You could also include at D phase, but there is a risk of destabilization.

Good evening. Can you replace decalact with lemonster? If so, at what stage and to which ingredient should the percentage be adjusted accordingly?

Hello! If you were able to weigh and dose the alum stone and the rest of the ingredients correctly, the emulsion should not have destabilized. We have made this recipe several times, we have not experienced such situations. The problem may be in the dosing or possibly the preparation - be careful what type of mixer you are working with.

Can you tell me why after adding the alum powder, the emulsion is cut?I followed exactly the steps of the preparation and however, the recipe redone twice ended with the emulsion turning white. I checked the pH after adding the alum stone and it was 4.3 thanks!

The recipe could be rethought, but without testing we wouldn't venture to make a recommendation.
