1. Heat the ingredients of phase A and B separately up to 75°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth. Add phase C and homogenize.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, add the ingredients of phase D and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Measure the pH value and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the mixture to the dedicated container. Consistency will be final the next day.

The result is a light, moisturising and nourishing cream formulated especially for babies and children. It spreads gently over the skin and leaves it feeling cared for and velvety soft. It can be used daily or as needed on both body and face.

Hello! Alpha emulsifier works totally differently, you should rethink the phases and proportions of the recipe. You can follow a recipe with Alpha emulsifier, in which you can more easily change the actives or oils.

Hello, can you use Alfa emulsifier in this recipe instead of cetearyl alcohol and Liqua?

Hello! Instead of lactic acid you can use citric acid dissolved in water 1/1.

Hello! The recipe can be enriched with both suggested ingredients, and is still suitable for young children. To obtain a cream with the most pleasant texture, we suggest no more than 3-4% lanolin and 1-2% urea. Thanks for your appreciation! Good luck!

Hello! Yes, it can be done, you just need to rethink the formula a bit in terms of dosages and preparation.

Hello, I have another question, can you add lanolin (for very dry skin) instead of part of coconut oil? But urea can be added, if yes in what percentage? Do these changes affect the recipe to not be suitable for small children (newborns)? Thank you very much! You are by far the best!

Hello! Fluida Emulsifier is no longer made, unfortunately. That's why I reformulated the recipe with Liqua.

Hello, I take it you no longer carry fluid emulsifier? I notice it has been out of stock for a couple weeks.

Hello! In principle, you can include in the recipe essesol about 20% in phase B, but without testing we cannot recommend such a modification of the formula. The recipe, including essesol, contains no ingredients contraindicated for young children.

Hello! Do you think I could include zinc oxide or essesol sunscreen in this cream? Is it safe for children 1 and 3 years old? Thank you..which phase could I include it in and in what proportions?

For pH measurement you can use paper strips, they are generally sufficient if you prepare cosmetics for personal use.

Thank you very much. For the ph, can I do it with the sheets? Or do you recommend a pH meter? Good day!

In your suggested formula there are no ingredients or dosages that are unsuitable at first glance, only the two suggestions are to be kept in mind. Good luck!

Can you suggest then just the modifications, choosing from what I have proposed, which at first sight would not destabilize the formula? Thank you very much.

Hi Laura! You have selected the ingredients well, but there are too many proposed modifications to be able to give you confirmation without testing that the proposed formula is okay and will be stable. As a suggestion, include niacinamide in phase B, and do the dosage of lactic acid at the end because the optimal percentage cannot be estimated in advance.
