- ideal for application in face creams, eye serums, body lotions, make-up, baby creams and lotions, after sun care
- optimal pH 3.5 - 8.5
FORMULATION GUIDE
- good compatibility with electrolytes
- forms stable emulsions with all common oils and lipids used for skin care, including polar oils
- to obtain viscous creams, consistency agents such as cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate or stearic acid may be used
- works well with 15 - 40 % oil phase
- preferably used for more acidic creams, but also tolerates slightly alkaline emulsions if required by the formula
