Formulation Guide
- Procedure: In emulsions, it is usually added in the final phase, after the emulsion has formed and cooled below 40°C. However, due to its thermal stability, it can also be added before emulsification.
- Homogenization: Requires good stirring to be uniformly distributed in systems with high water content.
- pH Range: Effective from pH 3.0 to pH 12.0.
- Technical tip: In products with a high load of ethoxylated surfactants, efficacy may be slightly diminished, in which case the maximum dosage (1.1%) is recommended.
