Q: Why is the scent directly from the bottle so different from what I feel on the skin?
A: Its high viscosity causes the aroma to release slowly. Directly from the bottle, the heavier notes dominate. On a tissue or the skin, the compounds vaporize gradually and stand out.

I used it on a liquid perfume as a top note. Unfortunately it had solidified but I still managed to move it with the pipette. The scent is maybe a bit too strong for me, it makes me think of an oriental perfume.

A bit aromatic on opening, then develops with rich notes of vanilla and caramel. It can be used as a perfume in itself, that's how special it is. I pair it with citrus notes, white flowers, fig, virginia cedar and cardamom.

It has nothing to do with tonka or vanilla as I've seen in reviews. It has a very pleasant balsamic odor with smoky notes. It works very well in oriental combinations.

I find it similar to the smell of Tonka bean. On the skin, it transforms into vanilla + mint and caramel in the background. It's also floral, but I can't really define it. Don't smell the essential oil directly even from a distance because you'll get the wrong impression. Put it on a tissue and let it disperse for at least 5-10 minutes. Then analyze. You'll like it.

On my last order, of all the essential oils, which came in good condition, this one came dry, it is unusable. And I have comparison term with an oil from Peru balsam, purchased in 2020, that one is still liquid now, but it is on its last legs. I would like to point out that following my complaint, made on the day of receipt of the package, I received no response from Elemental, I am not a loyal customer after all. I will never order such a product from Elemental again!

To me it smells like cough syrup, it is sweet and syrupy. It is quite strong and I think it needs to be diluted.
