Authentic Rose Perfume
Formula: 3187 Difficulty level: beginner Shelf life: min 12 months

Phase Ingredients Dosage % Total ~30 ml
A Ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin 96° C 76 23 ml
A Rhododendron essential oil 3 27 drops
A Grapefruit essential oil 7 63 drops
A Natural fragrance oil Vanilla Flowers 4 36 drops
A Natural fragrance oil Roses 8,4 75 drops
A Rose absolute 1 10 drops
A Peru Balsam essential oil 0,6 6 drops

1. Add the alcohol and the rest of the ingredients to a bottle. Shake well to mix.

2. Leave the composition to mature for at least a week, ideally 4-6 weeks.

3. If it is cloudy or shows sediment, place in the fridge for a day then filter with specific filter paper or coffee filter paper.

4. Transfer the resulting solution into the dedicated perfume bottle.

A ladies' fragrance from the soft-floral family, it is romantic and positively uplifting, with fresh, fruity green, slightly tart first notes that are followed by the authentic scent of roses in bloom, interwoven with powdery and subtly balsamic base notes.

Hello! 10 drops would be about 0.3 grams. 30 ml of perfume does not contain the whole bottle of rose absolute.

Hello! That's right, citrus essential oils do naturally contain photosensitizing molecules, there are however some that have had these substances removed, such as bergamot and lemon in our range. You can use lemon essential oil, but obviously it will give a different scent.

Hello. I ordered some more ingredients I needed to make this fragrance, but from what I read on forums, citrus is photosensitizing. Can I replace grapefruit essential oil with lemon essential oil without furocoumarins? I bought it and have it at home. Thank you!

hello, I would like to create my own perfume from damask rose essential oil...what would be the essential oils to add and the quantity? on your site I can't find damask rose...can it be successfully replaced with damask absolute? thank you.

Hello, Unfortunately, a remedy is not really in this case; if you have used rose absolute, then the fragrance will have a yellowish color.

I would like to make this perfume only I want to put other essences. For example what are the quantities needed for the combination: mandarin oil, nerouli oil and thyme oil? Can you help me? :) Is my percentage ok? - 10 ml mandarin oil, 7 ml nerouli oil, 3 ml thyme oil. Thanks!

Hello, To make this composition we recommend the use of 96° pharmaceutical or alimentary grain alcohol, but in no case less than 70° alcohol or technical or sanitary alcohol. The suggestion about quality vodka appears in another reply and refers to the possibility of using it to prepare the vanilla essence at home, an ingredient included in this formula.
