Description

Natural marine active ingredient with proven efficacy, targets cutaneous issues associated with acne like excess sebum production, bacterial spots, acne lesions, inflammation and scarring. Has antimicrobial, soothing and reparative virtues, for a normalized, calmed and clarified complexion.

A marine polysaccharide from Laminaria seaweed extract, with woundhealing and anti-inflammatory properties complexed with zinc to improve control of bacterial growth.

Its design is inspired by an original defence system developed between a brown algae and its symbiotic micro-organism.

EFFICACY TESTS

  • In-VITRO
  • Inhibits the synthesis and accumulation of lipids in the sebocytes and reduces the production of sebum by -26%.
  • Inhibits the growth of P. acnes by up to ‐70%.
  • Inhibits the growth of S. aureus by ‐36%.
  • Increases the keratinocytes by +136%, promoting the healing of acneic lesions.
  • Reduces the release of inflammatory mediators by -81% IL1A and -46% PGE2, thus promoting a soothing action.
  • In-VIVO
  • 20 volunteers aged between 14 and 30 years with acneic skins. Two applications per day of a cream containing 2% active for 28 days.
  • The inflammation of the acneic lesions was reduced by up to ‐22%.
  • The surface of the acneic lesions is reduced by up to ‐13 mm2.
  • The quantity of sebum on the surface of the skin was reduced by up to ‐57%.
  • Treating action: retentional lesions up to ‐44%; comedones up to ‐18%; microcysts up to ‐26%.
  • After 4 days the size of acne lesions is reduced. After 28 days the number of acne lesions as well as their degree of inflammation is reduced.

Marine-Z - I feel this marine active ingredient is effective. I use it in creams and gels for acne-prone skin. It also seems to have moisturizing effect, I recommend it.

Please leave the 100ml quantity as before. At 250ml is way too expensive and quantity too much and at 20ml is way too little. Try to do intermediate grammages. Thanks!

Hello. I just received my order and Marine Z was about 80% spilled. I think the bottle sealing leaves something to be desired and it's a shame about the products.

I continue to purchase Marine-Z over and over and over again. It is wonderful in oily skin preparations. It helps a lot with my acne, keeps my sebum under control and the appearance of my skin is visibly improved. Even the marks after acne are not as pronounced as before.

I use it in shampoo with real success. Elinina dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis is significantly rudused since I add 4% Marine Z to the shampoo

It came to 80lei/100ml. I mean very expensive! I bought it again because that's the successful shampoo recipe and it's hard to find another seboregulator .
