Marine-Z
Description
Marine-Z - The Marine Anti-Acne and Regenerating Diplomat
Marine-Z is a high-performance biotechnological complex specially created for the care of oily, acne-prone skin or skin sensitized by aggressive treatments. It combines an oligosaccharide extracted from the brown algae Laminaria digitata with zinc ions, offering a triple action: it regulates excess sebum, inhibits the proliferation of bacteria responsible for acne, and accelerates the healing process of lesions. It purifies the skin without dehydrating it, restoring the balance and health of the skin barrier.
Its concept is inspired by an original defense system developed between a brown algae and its symbiotic microorganism.
Ingredients (INCI): Glycerin, Water, Hydrolyzed Algin, Zinc Sulfate.
Technical Characteristics
- Origin: Marine and mineral (brown algae and zinc).
- Appearance: Slightly yellowish liquid.
- Solubility: Completely water-soluble.
- Function: Sebo-regulator, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, cicatrizing (healing).
- Recommended Dosage: 2% - 5%.
Studied Performance
The efficacy of Marine-Z is supported by clinical studies demonstrating a holistic approach to oily skin problems:
- Bacterial Control: In vitro tests confirm its ability to inhibit the development of Cutibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, the main culprits behind breakouts and inflammation.
- Anti-Inflammatory Action: Reduces the release of inflammatory mediators, quickly soothing the redness and discomfort associated with eruptions.
- Sebum Regulation: Reduces the activity of sebaceous glands, providing the skin with a matte appearance and preventing pore blockage.
- Repair and Cicatrization: Accelerates the regeneration of affected tissue, helping to more quickly eliminate marks left by imperfections - skin repair effect.
Efficacy Tests
In-VITRO
- Inhibits the synthesis and accumulation of lipids in sebocytes and reduces sebum production by -26%.
- Inhibits the growth of P. acnes by up to -70%.
- Inhibits the growth of S. aureus by -36%.
- Increases the number of keratinocytes by +136%, favoring the healing of acne lesions.
- Reduces the release of inflammatory mediators by -81% IL1A and -46% PGE2, thus promoting a soothing action.
In-VIVO
20 volunteers aged between 14 and 30 with acne-prone skin. Two applications per day of a cream containing 2% active ingredient for 28 days.
- Inflammation of acne lesions was reduced by up to -22%.
- The surface area of acne lesions is reduced by up to -13 mm2.
- The amount of sebum on the skin surface was reduced by up to -57%.
- Treatment action: retention lesions up to -44%; comedones up to -18%; microcysts up to -26%.
- After 4 days, the size of acne lesions is reduced. After 28 days, the number of acne lesions is reduced, as well as their degree of inflammation.
Main Properties
- Global Anti-Acne: Treats the causes of acne - bacteria, sebum - and the effects of acne - inflammation, scars.
- Gentle Purifier: Deeply cleanses without aggreessing sensitive or reactive skin.
- Sebo-Balanced: Maintains an optimal hydration level while controlling unsightly shine.
- Bio-compatible: The structure of the marine oligosaccharide is easily recognized by skin cells, facilitating the transport of zinc exactly where it is needed.
