Lotion for hair with dandruff, irritated scalp
Formula: 13407 Difficulty level: beginner Shelf life: min 3 months pH optimal: 5.5

Phase Ingredients Total 100 gr
A Peppermint water 30 gr
A Chamomile water 20 gr
A Pure / distilled water 41 gr
A Panthenol 0,4 gr
A Marine-Z 4 gr
A BHA natural Salicylic Acid 4 gr
A Cosgard 0,6 gr

1. In a glass or other bowl add the ingredients in turn in the order given in the recipe, stirring after each.

2. Transfer the resulting composition to the dedicated container.

The result is a fresh-smelling lotion with a refreshing, balancing and soothing effect, suitable for scalps with dandruff, itching and seborrhoea. Apply a moderate amount after washing the hair, on slightly damp or dry scalp. Spread evenly and massage in gently, no rinsing required.

Hello, I would like to prepare a tonic with the following recipe: rosemary floral water 40 grams, distilled water 60 grams, rosemary essential oil 0,4 gr, cosgard 0,6-1 gram; do you think it is ok? Eventual please help me with an advice, making the necessary corrections, thank you

Dear Judit, you can use Softdermo Complex at a dosage of 4%. However, be aware that not all alcohols are the same. Cosgard contains benzyl alcohol and not ethyl alcohol (ethanol) - which is not recommended for seborrheic skin.

Kesves Elemental, Is there another product instead of Cosgard that can be used to preserve the recipe? It contains a high percentage of alcohol, which is not recommended for seborrheic skin.

Hello and thank you that you exist.4 years old child made an aggressive dandruff (itching and peeling all over the head after using a commercial shampoo, the same as me).I have escaped from the first use with spirulina mask antimatatreata, but for him I can use this recipe, eliminating from the formula salicylic acid (possibly cosgard because I can prepare it exactly in the amount needed for application). Hello, Luminița! In this case it is important to identify the cause of the imbalance, as external applications can only help remedy the problem. We recommend using a mild, neutral shampoo. As a lotion, you can use this recipe from which you exclude BHA salicylic acid. Good health!

Hello! It is a lotion to apply on the scalp, not on the hairs. Lemon would not help nor is it recommended to be included in such formulas.

Hello. Yes, you can also include aloe vera, we suggest 10-15%, and instead of plain water you can use chamomile water.
