Description

Daisy Oil (Bellis perennis) is a cosmetic oil known for its ability to improve skin firmness and elasticity. It infuses the epidermis with bioactive compounds that support skin tone. It is a traditional ally dedicated to the care of fragile areas that lose elasticity. Its base acts as an ideal vehicle for the plant's lipophilic compounds (phytosterols and essential fatty acids), infusing the epidermis with fortifying nutrients.

Daisy Oil is recognized in natural cosmetics for the support it offers in regaining skin tone after pregnancy, weight fluctuations, or with aging. It is traditionally used in care protocols for the bust, neck, and decolletage, as well as in formulas intended for post-pregnancy body remodeling or after weight fluctuations, and for body areas with sagging or toneless skin. Due to its gentle and protective profile, the oil restores the hydrolipid barrier, bringing back radiance and uniformity to devitalized or sagging skin.

It is an oil obtained by macerating daisy flowers in sunflower oil. Maceration in a lipophilic environment allows for the extraction of the plant's oil-soluble compounds - mainly carotenoids, phytosterols, and triterpenoid esters. The firming and toning benefits of this macerate are attributed to the plant's liposoluble fraction, supported by the emollient sunflower base.

Characteristics

  • eco Culture: Conventional
  • water_do Appearance: Yellowish fluid liquid, light vegetable scent
  • verified_user Quality: Cosmetic grade, natural macerate

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Bellis Perennis Flower Extract
100% natural, free of preservatives or synthetic additives.

Main Properties

  • checkCutaneous tone promotion: Supports the firmness of tissues that are distended or prone to loosening - bust, decolletage, arms, post-natal abdomen.
  • checkElasticizing, restructuring: Being a rich source of Omega-6, it restores lipids in the barrier, improving the skin's flexibility and retraction capacity.
  • checkSupport in local microcirculation: Helps decongest heavy areas, facilitating fluid drainage during therapeutic or remodeling massage.
  • checkSoothing for delicate skin: Its gentle, well-tolerated profile relieves discomfort in reactive skin.
  • checkAntioxidant protection: Concentrates natural tocopherols and carotenoids extracted from the flowers, protecting collagen structures against premature oxidative degradation.

Usage & Synergies

Face care

On the face, Daisy Oil is relevant in formulas intended for mature skin with a loss of tone or a withered-looking neck and decolletage. It helps with remodeling predominantly through massage applications.

Practical recommendations

  • Facial massage: Apply pure or in combination with specific active ingredients for firmness; massage thoroughly and regularly.
  • Ingredient in neck and decolletage creams: Add at 15-25% into toning formulas for this frequently neglected area.

Synergies in face care

For mature skin, the synergy with Argan Oil and Rosa Mosqueta Oil completes the anti-aging and firming effect. As an ingredient in toning neck creams, the association with Macadamia Oil, Acmella In-Tense, and Coenzyme Q10 provides nourishment and an anti-aging effect.

Body care

This is Daisy Oil's area of excellence. It is the core ingredient in formulas intended for bust firmness, postnatal care, arm and thigh toning, and silhouette massage. It can be used pure in massage or as an ingredient in specific creams.

Practical recommendations

  • Toning massage oil: Apply pure or blended with other oils on areas with sagging skin, massaging with firm and upward movements to stimulate circulation.
  • Ingredient in bust cream: Incorporate at 20-40% into specific creams or oils to maintain bust firmness.
  • Post-pregnancy care: An ingredient in postnatal massage oils or creams to help restore abdominal tone.

Synergies in body care

As a toning massage oil, the synergy with Centella Asiatica Oil and Coffee Oil completes the firming and circulatory effect. In a bust formula, the association with Organic Evening Primrose Oil and Acmella In-Tense supports skin elasticity.

Hair care

Daisy Oil does not have a primary use in hair care. It can be included marginally as an emollient ingredient in hair masks or conditioners, but it does not bring specific benefits to the hair strands or the scalp.

Practical recommendations

  • Supporting ingredient in hair masks: Incorporate at 5-10% as an additional emollient ingredient.

Synergies in hair care

As a secondary emollient in hair masks, it associates naturally with Burdock Oil as a scalp treatment base.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does it smell like daisy flowers?
No. The product has a light vegetable scent, specific to the sunflower oil base.

Do the flavonoids and saponins from daisies transfer into the macerate?
Not in significant amounts. Saponins and flavonoids in Bellis perennis are primarily water-soluble compounds. The lipophilic macerate extracts the plant's fat-soluble fraction: carotenoids, phytosterols, and triterpenoid esters.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Daisy belongs to the Asteraceae family, and individuals with a proven allergy to plants in this family must exercise caution and perform a skin patch test before use.

A very good oil. It should be heated to 70 degrees but for a very short period of time. It is very good for people who have topical anti-acne treatment with retinol, for scarring and healing the skin.

Indispensable in the bust firming oil, noticeable results from the very first uses! However, I replaced the essential oils with others, cyst and lavender, I wanted a different fragrance.

I use daisy oil for bust, abdomen, arms and thighs as it firms the skin. It is good to know that it is extremely useful post-natal for sagging skin. I have been using it regularly since now. I'm enthusiastic!

Can it be used on oily skin in the T-zone? Does it clog pores? I have couperose and I ordered it for the benefit of couperose skin but is it ok to use it as such on my skin considering that I have excess sebum and enlarged pores? Muktumesc
