Hello Andreea, The maximum recommended percentage of zinc ricinoleate is 3%. Therefore we do not recommend adding this ingredient to the recipe.

can you increase the percentage of zinc ricinoleate to 10% (and decrease the amount of stearic acid) to increase the deodorant's effect?

Hello Alina, Due to the mild ingredients, even this formula is suitable for the specified age group. Of course, if you wish, you can replace the essential oils in the recipe with lavender essential oil. Good luck!

Hello! Can you give me a formula for a deodorant that a 9 year old girl could use? But, if I kept only 1% lavender essential oil (adjusting the percentage of the rest of the ingredients accordingly) would that be ok? Thanks for the reply!

Under ingredients required you didn't put Lemonester :( and I didn't check to add it. Now I have to give another order

Hello! Yes, Bacti-pur complex would be a suitable addition, be careful with the dosage as it is very strong. Good luck!

Hello! I have been making these deodorants for about half a year. It is the recipe that I have always dreamed of but nothing satisfied me in terms of finesse. It is perfectly conceived but, with the arrival of such high temperatures, I noticed that after a few hours it loses its effectiveness 9 which until now it didn't) and the unpleasant sweat odor appears. Do you think you can add the antimicrobial complex in the composition, for greater efficiency?

Hello! In principle, yes, it can be replaced, except that the bamboo will leave slightly more visible white marks on the skin.

Hello! Basically, you can use various vegetable oils, the important thing is to be as light as possible so as not to leave a greasy feeling on the skin, for example: rice oil, grapeseed, refined almond, kukui, hazelnut, meadowfoam, melon.

Hello. Can coconut oil be used in this recipe? What other vegetable oils do you recommend besides vanilla or caprylic? Thank you!

Interesting idea! One can think of a similar composition for other applications, the texture is very little influenced by the zinc ricinoleate, rather the hardness. Prepare the event prepare a small amount test first. Good luck!

Thank you for the patience and kindness with which you always respond. I tried this deodorant and it came out great. I really liked its texture and it inspired me to try the idea of a cream blush with this texture. Now, obviously it won't need the deodorant ingredients but I'm thinking - does the ricinoleate zinc contribute to the texture or is it just the caprylis, stearic acid, sericit and volatile silicone?

Hello! We don't recommend it, as shea butter is much more greasy and in addition it hardens the stick perhaps too much. Use a vegetable oil that is as light in texture as possible.

Hello! To get a softer consistency, decrease the amount by about 10-15% for stearic acid and increase accordingly for caprylis.
