Hello Valentina, We recommend 0.5% rosehip extract. Adjust the percentage of water accordingly.

Hello! In this recipe, we cannot recommend substituting vitamin C without testing. In principle, the MAP variant can be included in phase B, follow the directions on the product insert.

Hello. Vitamin C ascorbyl palmitate can be replaced by ascorbic acid or vitamin C MAP?

Hello! It's a rather oily cream, but it also works applied to the eye area if you remove the essential oil. A sprinkle (about 0.2%) of mandeline fragrance can be used. Replacing mango butter with cocoa butter is fine, as is sesame with jojoba, it just slightly affects the texture of the cream.

Good morning. This recipe also works for the eye area, I mention that I used jojoba oil instead of sesame 10 gr and 10 gr I put lanolin, petitgrain u.e. I replaced it with mandeline perfuming, and instead of mango butter I used cocoa butter. Thank you.

Christ is risen! I come back with impressions to the above recipe. It was not a successful combination of emulsifiers, from the above recipe, it came out very fluid cream. I reformulated it using Hidractiv 4% + olive 3% and it came out fine. As for the effects, I am pleased, it soothes, moisturizes and restores the skin of the hands. My father uses it happily, it makes his hands feel so tired. I put the watery phase over the oily phase. Maybe it would be interesting to experiment pouring the phases in reverse, to see if it changes anything in the consistency of the cream. Thank you for all that you offer and I wish you all the best!

You can include in phase A 5-10% lanolin and about 2% ceramides, decreasing the percentage of sesame oil. Sesame oil can be replaced with another vegetable oil or a mix of vegetable oils, according to preference. Urea can be added in phase A, 2-3% is enough, decrease the percentage of water accordingly. You can exclude phase C no problem, adjust to the water percentage in phase B. We have only tested this recipe with cosgard, we can't recommend any other preservative, but in theory, strawgard would be suitable.

I'd like to add ceramides, lanolin and urea to the recipe but I don't know where would be the most indicated and in what proportion. I know that hemp oil is very good for dry hands, should I use it in its totality instead of sesame and add rice? I would like to exclude phase C. What preservative can I use and how much instead of cosgard? Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the help you give us every time. Have a nice day!

Hello Diana, we wish you a Happy New Year, with achievements! The formula you have devised sounds fine. With such a combination of emulsifiers we don't have experience but in principle the emulsion can be realized. The guaiac oil we suggest to add to phase A after removing the phase from the water bath, before emulsification. Another suggestion would be to reduce to approx. 0.3% the percentage of liquorice extract, as it is quite sticky and in a hand cream we don't want an unpleasant feeling on the skin, and it is a very concentrated extract anyway. Prepare a smaller amount of cream first and if you have the time and availability, come back with your opinion. Good luck!

Hello, Acerola powder is an important ingredient in the formula due to the benefits it brings to the skin (vitamins, antioxidants), but the cream can be prepared without this ingredient by adjusting the percentage of plain water in the recipe.
