Organic Aloe Vera Powder is rich in polysaccharides, amino acids, and minerals, compounds to which aloe vera owes its ability to hydrate, regenerate, and provide a feeling of comfort to the skin. It is a versatile ingredient, suitable for facial and body care formulations, as well as hair and scalp products.
It is obtained by freeze-drying organically farmed aloe vera juice (Aloe barbadensis), a process that removes water at low temperatures, preserving the plant's natural composition to the highest degree in a 200-fold concentrated form. Upon rehydration, the powder reconstitutes a solution similar to fresh aloe juice.

Formulation Guide
- Reconstitute in purified water before incorporating into the formula (0.5 g powder to 99.5 ml water) at temperatures below 40°C.
- For a gel texture, add up to 1% xanthan gum to the reconstituted mixture.
- Can also be incorporated directly in powder form into the aqueous phase of a formula if an active concentration higher than standard reconstituted juice is desired.
- Being heat-sensitive, addition to the cooling phase of the manufacturing process is recommended, rather than the heated phase.
- Pairs well with other hydrating and soothing active ingredients from the Ellemental range for complex care formulas for sensitive skin.
