Aloe Vera gel Organic
Description
Aloe vera - what a unique gift from nature! A valuable panacea for the skin, renowned for its soothing, repairing, moisturizing, and revitalizing properties. A remarkable product due to its composition and action on the skin.
Source & Quality: Aloe vera juice from organic cultivation, freshly harvested and filtered, preserved with Ecocert-approved preservatives.
Important note: Contrary to what its name suggests, aloe vera gel does not actually have the consistency of a gel but is fluid. This is normal because the gel extracted from the plant, once crushed and filtered to comply with cosmetic quality standards, becomes as fluid as water. Other aloe vera products that have a gel-like consistency contain added gelling agents!
Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid
Natural and organic cosmetic product certified by Ecocert Greenlife

MAIN PROPERTIES
- Moisturizing – helps compensate for water loss in the skin; supports water retention in the stratum corneum, helping maintain hydration and reduce transepidermal water loss
- Astringent, anti-inflammatory; studies show that aloe vera exhibits anti-inflammatory activity, making it beneficial for sensitive, irritated skin or skin with minor lesions
- Regenerating, promotes skin renewal, stimulates cell division, and has an activating effect
- Facilitates faster and more effective wound healing for minor injuries and burns
- Soothing and comforting to the skin, reduces irritation, redness, and sunburn; thanks to its amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, it supports skin repair processes, reducing redness, irritation, and discomfort

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
- Aloe vera gel can be used directly on the skin
- As is, sprayed, applied with a cotton pad, or used as a compress
- To give the product a gel-like consistency, 0.3–0.5% xanthan gum may be added
- As an ingredient for preparing a wide range of skin and hair care products
- In emulsions, it can be included in the water phase; because it is rich in electrolytes, the high mineral and salt content of aloe vera may affect emulsion stability
- Suitable for post-sun, post-waxing, and scalp care: its soothing and regenerative properties make it ideal after sun exposure, waxing/shaving, or for sensitive scalps
IN PRACTICE

- After-sun treatment: spray a thin layer of aloe gel onto affected areas or apply as a cold compress to reduce redness and rehydrate the skin.
- Scalp and hair care: for a scalp lotion, combine 10 ml aloe gel with 5 ml avocado oil and a few drops of rosemary or tea tree essential oil; leave on for 30 minutes or longer, then wash/rinse.
