Children's toothpaste with Aloe and Strawberry
Formula: 233492 Difficulty level: beginner Shelf life: min 3 months

Phase Ingredients Total ~50 ml / 90 gr
A Calcium Carbonate 37 gr
A Aloe Vera powder 0,5 gr
A Xylitol 10 gr
A Glycerin 32 gr
A Peppermint water 10 gr

Hello! We do have xylitol, but in the larger 100g package. You can also buy xylitol at any supermarket in the diet products area. No substitute with the same benefits for the oral cavity. Good for you!

Hello. Given that xylitol is missing, what can we inoculate this product with? I notice that it is an ingredient found in all toothpaste recipes. Unfortunately in the previous order I forgot to put it in the cart...now I have an unpleasant surprise seeing that the stock is exhausted. I hope you can help me. Have a nice day!

Dear Bea! In this recipe, we only recommend aloe vera in powder form. If you don't have it on hand, you can leave it out. You can use the toothpaste from the recipe for a tiny child, in small amounts, reducing the ingestible dose to a minimum. Have a nice day!

or is it better to use silica instead of calcium carbonate?

Hi! Is this toothpaste suitable for a 9-month-old who can't spit it out yet? Alternatively, can you use aloe powder instead of aloe freshly extracted from plants or even aloe gel from your range? Thank you

Hello, Geanina! The paste can be used from any age, and it's not a problem if it is swallowed a little - inevitable in little ones. The recommendation is not to swallow a larger amount.

Hello Lidia. We don't have a purée with similar properties that would suit this recipe. You can remove the ingredient from the recipe.

Cristina, we don't recommend the suggested modification, you can however eliminate the aloe vera powder from the recipe. Have a lovely day!

Can aloe gel be used instead of powder, increasing the amount of carbonate to get the right consistency? Thanks.

Carmen, the high amount of glycerin ensures self-preservation of this composition, that's how most commercially available organic toothpastes are formulated too.

Do you not need cosgard for preservation?
