Hello, I also made the gel this time with aloe powder, as indicated in the recipe, just like the lady above and I formed lumps. I do not make this gel for the first time, but true that I used aloe gel (Elemental product) that comes out the same as in the picture of the recipe Now the question is, does not it somehow separate from the aloe powder? If possible I would like some indications...why doesn't it come out with aloe powder? Thanks in advance.

In this kind of formulas that contain a high dosage of alcohol (ethanol), gradual addition and thorough mixing after each addition of alcohol is very important, otherwise the gel structure may destabilize. If you have used the alcohol recommended in the recipe (min 96°) and the ingredients respectively dosages indicated, then at the homogenization stage is the problem. We hope we have been able to help.

I understand. I made this solution about 10 days ago, according to the instructions. I let the xanthax gum soak for about 7-8 min, but when I started adding the alcohol (max 5 ml at a time) the composition lost its binding and separated into small lumps. I can't figure out where I went wrong.

Hello, I sent a message a few days ago, but I see that it no longer appears. Do I have to do anything special or do I need approval?

Hello! Try to homogenize slowly and thoroughly. If it does not become a uniform gel, we do not recommend using it.

Can you tell me what I could color this solution a little bit with if I make it without xanthan gum, so in liquid form, so it's not really colorless? Thanks!

Hello! Hyaluronic acid does not have strong enough gelling effect to gel and stabilize such a formula.

Hello! In principle yes, it can be added, with a dosage calculated so that the hydrogen peroxide concentration is no more than 0.3% in the finished product. Cheers!

In principle the formula is fine, but we cannot give a positive opinion without testing. What we know for sure, from official sources, is the recommended concentration of ethanol to achieve broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect, as we have also informed in the discussions below.

Would a formula like aloe powder 0.5% xanthan gum 1.5% alcohol 96 degrees 70% nalba extract 3% glycerin 4% lavender oil 1% tea tree oil 1% plain water 19%% be ok for the current context?
