Hello Ancuța, We don't have a substitute with similar properties. Instead, chlorophyll can be omitted from the recipe, as it is only included for color.

Hello . With what can you replace chlorophyll powder. Can you use a cosmetic pigment?

Hello Hina, Preventing hair growth in the skin requires an ingredient that is not available in our product range, and for the gel to fulfill the other two requirements, a complete reformulation of the recipe would be necessary, which is not possible without testing. Have an easy day!

Hello! How could I transform this gel into an exfoliating one to diminish the visible pores effect after epilation on the body, also to prevent ingrown hairs in the skin?Could I add AHA or BHA acid?In what quantity, please?

Hello, This after-shave recipe is a soothing, soothing, moisturizing and slightly astringent gel. Peppermint water is gentle enough to be used directly on the skin and can also be used on children. There is no need to replace it with another floral water, although cornflower water with its anti-inflammatory, anti-redness, decongestant, soothing, calming, soothing properties can be substituted.

Another question: is this soothing gel suitable for a man with sensitive and couperose skin? Or maybe I should replace mint water with another water?

Hello! I would like to use softdermo complex instead of cosgard. Is it ok if I use 4% before the xanthan gum minus the peppermint water? For extra moisturizing could I add 3-4% glycerin subtracting one of the waters? Thanks in advance for your answer! Have a nice day!

Hi, I prepared this soothing gel, exactly with the ingredients in the recipe. It's great as an after-shave, but I also use it when I have various irritations or itching on my skin and it really works. Plus, I love the minty, fresh and clean smell. Only good!

Hello! The suggested modifications are fine, a more viscous gel using a higher dosage of xanthan gum will ensure optimal suspension of a small amount of oily ingredients. Good luck!

Hello! Lavender water and peppermint water I will replace them with Witch hazel water. If I increase the amount of xanthan gum to 1% mixed with the Aloe Vera gel, would it be enough to be able to add fat-soluble actives (1% Q10 and 0,3% Vitamin E) and to perfume this gel using the natural Fresh Marine fragrance? Thank you.

Hello! Instead of lavender water you can use lime water, melissa, even witch hazel for this recipe. All the best!

Bearing in mind that lavender is a known allergen (which is why I am frustrated by its abundance in cosmetic products, especially soothing ones), and I have the misfortune to be so allergic that I can smell it in the smallest quantities (I have a choking sensation when I inhale, even if the odor is not there - the label confirms its presence), I have the following question: what can I replace Lavender water with? Witch hazel water, lime water?

I have meanwhile read in the comments, below, that I can add a little baking soda to increase the pH. If you can also advise me how much bicarbonate to put (the current pH of the gel is around 4), thank you very much!

Hello! I made the recipe and added 0,5 gr of alum. You were right, the pH has dropped, the band tells me around 4 - 4,5. Is there anything else I could add to increase the pH slightly? Thanks a lot!

Of course, Dermosoft can be used, be careful with the dosage and the optimal pH in this case - details can be found in the product sheet. Good thoughts!

I have another question: instead of Cosgard, can Dermosoft complex be used? From what I've read, the benzyl alcohol ingredient is a bit more controversial. Thanks a lot!

Glycerin would be a welcome addition, use no more than 3-4% to avoid a sticky gel. Good luck!

Thank you very much for your answer! I would have one more question, namely if glycerin can be added or do you consider that it is not necessary, having aloe vera gel? Thanks!

Hello! Alder powder lowers the pH and so only a small amount can be included in this formula, for which the final pH should be no lower than 5-5.5. Peppermint water can be replaced with witch hazel water in the same amount.
