Hi Gabriella, A pH value of 5.0-5.5 is recommended for this lotion, it's probably not more acidic the serum obtained as there are no overly acidic ingredients in the formula. I recommend you double check the final pH and if it is still lower adjust the pH using arginine. All the best!

Hello! I made exactly this recipe and added cosgard. When I measured the ph it came out 3.5. Can I modify it in any way to get it to the optimal value?

Hello Gabriella, To facilitate complete dissolution, we recommend premixing the indicated amount in a few drops of floral water, stirring vigorously until dissolved. Then add the mixture to the other ingredients.

Hello! What else can be added to the formula for shelf life extension besides grapefruit seed extract (which I read about in the comments, but you don't have this product)?

Hello! You can prepare the recipe you suggest, it will result in a quite concentrated solution; you can also prepare something more diluted, using about 50% pure water and the remaining 44.4% neroli water + aloe vera gel. Possibly prepare a smaller amount of the test first. Good luck!

Hello! I would like a moisturizing, slightly soothing body spray and I thought of a formula that includes ingredients I already have: Neroli Water (47.4%), Aloe Vera Gel (47%), Silk Protein (3%), Honeyquat (2%), Cosgard (0.6%). Would that be okay? Thanks!

Hello! You can also use aloe vera powder about 0,5 gr, if you have it on hand.

Hello! Menthol crystals are soluble in oils and alcohol, insoluble in water. You can dissolve them in alcohol, recommended dosage about 0.5% and estimated 10-12% ethanol, which solution can then be included in the recipe instead of some of the floral water. or possibly use peppermint water instead of the floral water recommended in the recipe.

Hello! You can enrich the recipe with buttermilk, and with the addition of grapefruit extract the solution will keep well for 2-3 months stored in the refrigerator.

Alcohol doesn't soothe the skin, but gives a cooling and anti-pruritic effect for a moment.
