Hello Maria, Another powder with similar properties we cannot recommend. The serum can also be made without acerola powder, or you can substitute 2% City-guard.

Hello, In this recipe is also mentioned acerola powder, which is not in stock at the moment, is there another ingredient that I can use instead of this acerola powder? Thank you

Hello! You can make the serum with the suggested modifications. Instead of the aromatic extract you can use either red vine or dragon's blood extract, depending on your preference and desired properties. Other extra active we could not recommend at the moment, the rethought formula is quite rich. Good luck!

Good morning. I would like to ask you if it is ok to put 2 gr city-guard instead of aloe gel, hyaluronic acid lmw instead of hmw, add xanthan gum 0.02 gr.and cosgard 2 drops, water 6.3 gr. In place of the aromatic extract could I add red vine extract or dragon's blood extract? Thank you. Could I also add something here for under eye bags, deep dark circles with dry skin ? All the best and thanks for the wonderful recipes.

Hello! You can make the substitution to hyaluronic acid, but there will be no more gelling effect. Acacia gum has a tensing effect and forms a thin film on the skin, we don't recommend replacing with xanthan gum, but xanthan gum would be useful to gelify the serum a bit instead of hmw hyaluronic acid. Cosgard 2 drops - yes. Thank you for your trust,

Hello. In this formula can I replace hyaluronic acid hmw with lmw and acacia gum with xanthan gum ? Specifically I'm going to use cosgard 2 pic with water percentage 6.3gr. I hope I have calculated well. Thank you again for your patience and for letting us reinterpret the networks . All the best and have an easy day.

The proposed recipe can be realized. For the quantities of the ingredients, you can follow this recipe and the one with caffeine.

I might make the recipe: Cranberry water, caffeine, xanthan gum, hyaluronic acid (lmw), acerola powder, dermosoft complex? In phase A, I'm going to ice blueberry water with caffeine. How should I adjust the amounts?

Tania, aloe vera gel can cause reddening of the skin if applied neat, as it is concentrated in active substances but also because of its rather acidic pH. At a dosage of 20% in recipes, it doesn't usually cause discomfort, but you can replace it in this recipe with a floral water.

What could I replace Aloe Vera Gel with? I tried pure Aloe Vera Gel on my face and it made my skin a bit red and swollen. Am I allergic to it or is it one of the preservatives? Is it normal to turn red? After half an hour the redness goes away and the skin stays shiny and moisturized. What is your opinion?

Hello Mariana. The formula you thought of sounds fine, you need to add preservative, we suggest 0.6% cosgard. Good luck!

Hello, If for the flower water and powder you have kept the proportions in the recipe, that's fine, but for the cosgard preservative, you have far exceeded the maximum recommended dosage. As I also specified in the recipe under Options and explanations : if you remove the acerola powder, the serum can also be preserved with cosgard 0.6% (adjusting the percentage of the immortelle water accordingly, cornflower in your case). Therefore you only need to use 0.6% cosgard preservative, which is about 2 drops per 10 ml of preparation. We do not recommend using the serum under these conditions.
