Description
Natural Solubilizer – PEG-free, aqueous solutions with fragrance oils and lipophilic active ingredients.
The solubilizer features excellent solubilization performance, designed to solubilize essential oils, fragrances, and various lipophilic ingredients in water-based preparations.
It is a 100% natural-origin blend created as an alternative to traditional ethoxylated solubilizers (such as PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil or Polysorbate). Its formula combines an alkyl glucoside with a glutamate and a glycerin ester, achieving an effective system at low concentrations due to its low critical micelle concentration (CMC).
It is suitable for both clear aqueous formulas and surfactant systems, performing well in both the presence and absence of ethanol. It provides a pleasant sensory feel without a sticky effect and additionally contributes to foam quality in cleansing products.

Formulation Guide
- Working Procedure: premix the solubilizer with the oil at room temperature; then add the water, aqueous phase, or surfactant base under continuous stirring; adjust pH to 4.5-6.5 if necessary; if the formula contains ethanol, add it at the end in small portions.
- In Aqueous Solutions: indicative oil:solubilizer ratio dosage between 1:3 - 1:5, up to a maximum of 5% in the final formula. In practice, start with a 1:3 ratio (one part oil, three parts solubilizer); if the solution remains cloudy, increase the solubilizer proportion and restart the process from the premixing step.
- In Surfactant Formulations: indicative dosage for surfactant-based products, 0.5-1.5%. The solubilizer may reduce formula viscosity; viscosity adjustment should be made at the end of the formulation process.
- Compatible with: natural fragrances, essential oils, conventional fragrance oils, lipophilic active ingredients, synthetic esters, ethanol (max. 10%), non-ionic conditioning agents.
- Incompatible with: vegetable oils and cationic compounds.
- Avoid overdosing the solubilizer to prevent excessive and unnecessary foaming.

Very good product for incorporating essential oils into aqueous solutions or gels.
I've seen that it doesn't really mix the water with the essential oil, even though I've tried it with warm water. I realize now that you need something to incorporate them, dissolve them somehow, in the water. I bought it to dissolve the oregano and palmarosa essential oils in the anti dandruff lotion.

It is easy to use and work excelent! I like it to dissolve essential oils in water and some lipophilic fragrances.
Honestly I was afraid of recipes that specified the need for solubilizer, but I got brave and ordered it. First recipe - a success! I followed the directions and everything was MUuuuuch easier than I expected. Since it is used in a very small ratio, it is also an economical product, not just easy to use
I find it really useful if you want to disperse essential oils in aqueous medium. I have used it in mouthwash and it is very good. It would be nice if it came in 100ml quantity.
