Hello! Yes, you can prepare the solution using only alcohol, it serves both for preservation and solubilization of essential oils.

Hello, I would like to make a recipe to use it on windows or doors, can it be made as a perfume using 96* grain alcohol, without using solubilizer and glycerin?

The pH should be between 5-7.5. For the maximum dosages check the recommendation in the IFRA certificate attached in the product sheet of each essential oil.

Hello, 3% glycerin is not much, but you can use another humectant like Propanediol. Possibly remove this ingredient, the lotion works without it. Yes, you can use the peppermint water bottle with spray pump.

This lotion I would like to be able to use for a child older than 3 years. I will follow the recipe, but will put lavender instead of thyme and eucalyptus globulus (+geranium). Is that ok? Ms! Ps: can I use the 100 ml mint water container , so I only buy the 20/410 spray pump. Is it suitable? I would prepare the solution with glycerin, only I read in the reviews that it would be sticky to apply....how do you consider? thanks for all the answers!

Hello! Is it necessary to put glycerin? I would like to, only that I read through reviews that it would be sticky to apply. Ps:Is it possible to use the mint water bottle, so I can just buy the spray pump? Would any of them fit? Thanks so much for the answers!

Hello, is there any other possible combination of essential oils for this recipe? I have about 20 different essential oils but these 3 I don't have. Could you please suggest substitutes for each of the 3 essential oils? Thank you very much!

Hello! We do not recommend the proposed substitution, you can possibly use lemongrass or citronella essential oil instead of eucalyptus citronat.

Hello. It can be used if the complexion is not sensitive, but after application the skin reaction on the face should be observed.

Good afternoon. Replacing the preservative is basically fine for this formula. Replacing the glycerin with mallow extract is fine, as is thyme with lavender. Although there are plenty of such products on the market containing essential oils and various other potentially irritating or allergenic substances, for children under 3, we are reluctant to recommend solutions containing essential oils, especially in the case of an anti-insect lotion, which must be effective and therefore contain sufficiently high doses. The recipe can also be used on clothes or other surfaces.

Hi, for my daughter (9 years old) I have modified the recipe as follows: replaced cosgard with grapefruit seed oil replaced thyme oil with lavender replaced glycerin with nalba extract. The lotion seems ok in appearance and texture, I just want to make sure that I haven't ruined anything in its effectiveness by the substitutions. Also, please very kindly offer any suggestions for children under 3 years old. Could I use the lotion with the above modifications, at least put it on clothes or carts? If you have any other suggestions, that would be great :). Thanks
