Try, after removing the container from the freezer, to warm the upper part of the lid with your fingers to fluidize the oil that practically separates the deodorant from the lid. Then lift the lid a little around. I haven't broken any deodorant since

Hello! Prcatic yes, you can make the substitution, any of the proposed percentage variants, but the texture of the deodorant will be less smooth.

Hello! Could I replace the sericite with 5% bicarbonate and 5% bamboo powder? Or 4% and 6% respectively?

I did all this. I tested different freezing times. The caps were smeared with caprylis. The first two came out fine, the first perfect, the second almost perfect. The rest didn't. I don't know how many you have made , but I can assure you that the recipe is not optimal in texture , at least half will break . I followed the recipe exactly every time. One time I increased it with 5% stearic and to my surprise, it broke the same way when taken out of the freezer. Is it just my bad luck? :D

Hello! Based on the recipe, the deodorant has the optimal texture and viscosity in this sense as well. Before pouring to grease the inside of the cap with oil, possibly, before removing the cap, place the product in a cool environment.

Hello! Due to the fact that the deodorant breaks when I take the cap off, I have supplemented the stearic acid by 5%, decreasing the caprilis and it still breaks. Is there another alternative? Mie imi piace ca si consistenta la aplicarea varianta initiala, dar din 10 deodorant doar la 2 mi inÂ'inÂ'happened not to break.

Hello Veronica. A softer texture ensures an easier application, but you can supplement the amount of stearic acid, by about 5% by decreasing the percentage appropriately with caprylic. Instead of tea tree oil you can use another essential oil with antibacterial properties.

Hello. I also made this deodorant and it came out a little soft .I think I should add more stearic acid. Can you recommend the amount? Si inca ceva: in lieu de teea tree, puteti sa imi recomandati altceva ca nu prea imi place odor. Thank you.

Georgiana, alum stone is water soluble and doesn't melt in oily compositions like this formula, even if it warms more. You can still include it though, it should be crushed so as to result in as fine a powder as possible, and before pouring, the preparation should be mixed well to ensure even dispersion of the alum. Have a nice day!

I have made this deodorant with an extra ingredient: alum stone, but the pieces of alum stone are almost whole, should the pieces of alum stone be crushed, or should phase A be heated more with phase B, or should alum powder be used? Thank you and I am grateful that you exist!

I too have used the beeswax, alum and farnesol version but can't find that recipe anymore. Where can I find it?

Hello Mirela. You can replace farnesol with lemonester, a higher dosage of up to 5% is required. Decrease the dosage appropriately to a fluid ingredient in the recipe. Thanks for your appreciation,

Hello, You had a stick women's deodorant recipe that was cocoa butter, wax and alum stone along with farnesol. I now use the gel deodorant with alum and lemonester but I would also like to make the stick deodorant mentioned earlier in which I replace the farnesol which was 1% with lemonester (I don't have zinc ricinoleate). Can farnesol be replaced with lemonester, and if so, what percentage to use? Thanks in advance and congratulations on everything!
