Immortelle water Organic (Helichrysum italicum) is obtained through the distillation of the flowering tops of the immortelle, a plant with golden-yellow flowers that do not wither even after being harvested, hence its name. The scent is intense, dry, with pronounced notes of hay and curry, which is quite particular. It is the kind of aroma that you recognize immediately and about which tastes are divided, but it signals the potency of the plant.
On the face, immortelle water is a vascular tonic active: it tones fragile capillaries, reduces diffuse redness, and contributes to a more even and firmer appearance of couperose or mature skin. I changed the recipe a bit from the new kojic acid toner, along with a friend's ideas and products, turned it into a serum (with xanthan gum) and replaced the water with equal amounts of witch hazel and imortelle water. And I use it all over my body after an exfoliating shower. I have no words for the result, baby soft skin instantly! Når det handler om de æteriske olier, er Helichrysum meget dyr. Så det var lidt en overraskelse for mig, at den ikke er dyrere end de andre, når det handler om hydrolater. Fedt :-)
