Precious hand and body cream

1. Heat the ingredients of phases A and B separately up to 75°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, or hand temperature, add the Phase C ingredients and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Measure pH and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the composition to the dedicated container. Consistency will be final the next day.

The result is a pleasantly textured cream with a floral-woody fragrance and anti-aging, moisturizing, emollient and nourishing properties. It is suitable for hand and body care in general.

Hello! Instead of the rosehip extract you can use another active ingredient with similar properties, not an aromatic extract that will only bring odor to the cream. Instead of the proposed fragrance, you can use another fragrance or essential oil of your choice.

Hello, the recipe is wonderful and it worked out the first time. I used Cetyl Alcohol 2% instead of hydrating co-emulsifier. Thanks!

Hello! Supplementing the formula with 10% urea could be problematic, we suggest you to turn to a recipe containing urea, which you can adapt by substituting certain ingredients (oils, perfuming..).

Hello! You can remove the Hidractiv co-emulsifier but you need about 0.2% xanthan (or 2% Stabila co-emulsifier) to increase emulsion stability, and an addition of glycerin in phase B for moisturizing, about 3%.

Hello! You can add these ingredients, we recommend urea in phase B and silk protein in phase C (no more than 1% so as not to risk destabilizing the emulsion). Decrease the dosage to water accordingly. Good luck!
