1. Heat the ingredients of phases A and B separately up to 70°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion is formed.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C (hand temperature) add the Phase C ingredients and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Measure pH and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the composition to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final on the next day.

Fluffy body butter, very pleasant to apply, with a delicious smell, does not leave an unpleasant greasy film on the skin. It is emollient, regenerating moisturiser, leaves the skin velvety and soft all day long.

Hello Larissa, Sorry, but a prepared, cut emulsion cannot be repaired. We recommend you prepare the recipe again following the instructions exactly, paying attention to heating temperatures and mixing time. Good luck!

How can the cream be repaired if it is cut before adding phase c?

Hello Cristina, The most suitable oils in place of cranberry oil would be: passionfruit oil, paw paw oil, grape oil, tomato seed oil. Have an easy day!

Hello, Betaine is a natural moisturizing active ingredient, which can be substituted with glycerin, added to phase B. Have a sunny day!

Hello, is it possible to remove betaine from the recipe?or what could I replace it with: stearic acid or maybe lipophilic starch? Thank you

Hi Cristina, To make the recipe with Olliva emulsifier instead of Emulsan, it would be necessary to adjust the formula. The destabilization of the cream can have the following causes: - different temperatures of phases A and B at the moment of emulsification - adding the ingredients of phase C before cooling the composition below 40 C. Good luck!

Could I modify the formula for Olliva emulsifier? I have used it so far twice with glyceryl caprylate and I think this combination destabilizes the emulsions. I haven't found another explanation
