The formula contains a low percentage of tensides, and those mild ones, it contains glycerin and marshmallow extract - both known for their moisturizing effect, so the cleanser should not have a drying effect on the skin, on the contrary. On the other hand, depending on the cleanser previously used, the skin may show such a temporary reaction for a few days. We can suggest that you increase the glycerine percentage to 10% the next time you use it. Prepare a small amount of test if necessary.
