Hello Oana, Theoretically you can use urucum powder macerate in this recipe. Without testing exact amounts we can't recommend, but if you prepare the recipe with this macerate, we recommend increasing the amount of oil and using a small amount of urucum, as it has a great coloring power on the complexion.

Hello, is it possible to add urucum powder for extra protection against UV radiation? In what concentration? Thank you!

Hello Oana, If you have followed the quantities indicated in the recipe, the end result will be a light cream. It is possible that replacing the argan oil with avocado oil, which is a thicker oil, may have slightly affected the consistency of the cream. We recommend transferring the cream to the container immediately after it is ready, before it reaches its final, thicker consistency the next day. Transferring the cream can be facilitated by using a sterile bag, which can be cut slightly at the top to transfer the cream. Have a sunny day!

Hello, how could I transfer the cream into the dedicated container it is thicker consistency and I cannot transfer. I replaced the argan oil with avocado oil because I didn't have any and put another floral water. Did this change affect the consistency. Thanks!

Hello, how can the cream be transferred into the recommended container? As it is quite small hole and thicker cream. Thanks!

Hello, The argan oil in the oil phase can be substituted with purchased oils, and the rose water can be substituted with witch hazel water. Without testing, we cannot comment on the inclusion of the other ingredients.

Hello! How could I modify this recipe, for couperose, small bruises on the face, replacing or adding the ingredients recently purchased from you specifically for this condition: immortelle water, rice oil, marigold oil, calendula oil, centella asiatica oil, immortelle essential oil, wild chestnut extract, red vine extract. Thank you!

Hello! Instead of a part of argan oil you can use a butter, we recommend murumuru butter, and in phase B you can include a moisturizing, moisturizing agent such as glycerin or sodium PCA in a dosage of about 3%.

Hello! In order to get a more moisturizing cream could I add/replace with some of these ingredients: cocoa butter, shea butter, murumuru butter, glyceryl caprylate or other suggested oils? Or would it be more ok if I change the percentage of oil and water? (Keeping in mind that I added 2% vit. C (MAP) )

You can use the cream on your face if you apply a more moisturizing toner beforehand, so it won't leave your face feeling dry. As for caffeine, we recommend using only pure caffeine.

one more question related to this recipe - I made one with luminita serii oil and witch hazel water so I can use it for the eye area but there (the feeling of) dryness is more pronounced; can I change anything else in it or better use a separate serum just for eyes? I have caffeine+EGCG from ..a certain company - do you think it's safe to use or better something exclusively moisturizing? I already saw a nice recipe on here somewhere :) THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much! - I hope I'm not doing something wrong though . are there emulsifiers that don't create such a problem ? I would prefer... with this last recipe I have a slight dry feeling - I think I could have gone on a slightly lower percentage of olives, and I'm very sorry because it's otherwise wonderful!!! thanks again for the recipes and advice!!!

Hello! It is the so called soaping effect and it is a normal phenomenon, common with many emulsifiers including Olliva. It can be improved by working with the lowest possible dosage for the formula but without affecting the stability. Of course, the sensory profile of creams depends on the whole formula, but in this particular case, the optimal ratio of oily ingredients to emulsifier is most important.

hello again :) I have a problem with most of the recipes I try to make - it's not serious but it makes me think..I will refer to this recipe but the story is basically the same for many recipes - and not only those that use olive: when applied on the skin before the cream is absorbed it turns whitish; it doesn't help much to massage, rather if I wait approx. 30 sec it fades and only then it is absorbed by massage without leaving any traces; I have to admit (,) that because I'm not at home I can't get the ingredients of each recipe and I try to use what I have - and here for example I used the maximum dosage of hyaluronic acid and coenzyme q10 and I also added vegetable collagen... my question is: is it because of the modifications I made or I don't respect the mixing times and temperatures? I usually use a minitel and I try to mix as fast as I can ; and I also don't measure the temperatures exactly... is this the cause or is it a normal phenomenon?

Hello! The formula can be enriched with vitamin C (MAP), add it in the B phase by decreasing the water dosage accordingly.

Good evening. Can I add 2% vitamin C (MAP) by subtracting from the amount of oil? If so can you tell me at what stage I can add it? Thank you.
