Anti-aging cream with peptides and ceramides
Formula: 52308 Difficulty level: medium Shelf life: min 3 months pH optimal: 6.5

Phase Ingredients Dosage % Total 50 gr
A Caprilis oil 9 4,5 gr
A Olive squalane 4 2 gr
A Ceramide 2 1 gr
A Emulsifier Bella 5 2,5 gr
A Cetearyl alcohol 1,5 0,75 gr
B Cornflower water 73,5 36,8 gr
C Peptide-coll 2 1 gr
C Hyaluronic acid LMW 1 0,5 gr

C Cosgard 0,6 0,3 gr

1. Heat the ingredients of phases A and B separately to 85°C in a heat-resistant beaker on a water bath. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

2. Add the contents of phase A to phase B with mixing, continue mixing until smooth.

3. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and blend until a smooth, glossy, homogeneous emulsion is formed.

4. When the mixture has cooled to below 40°C, or hand temperature, add the phase C ingredients and mix thoroughly until smooth.

5. Transfer the mixture to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final the next day.

The result is a light day cream, suitable for normal, combination or oily skin, particularly rich in ingredients that combat the signs of skin ageing. It can also be used around the eyes and on the eyelids.

Hi Paula, You can replace the peptide-coll with Tripeptide-1 Concentrate, using the initial dosage of 2%. A suitable replacement for ceramide we cannot offer you and this ingredient cannot be replaced with Peptide.

Hello Andrada, In case of replacing an oil, we recommend choosing an oil with similar properties. In this case we recommend: Camellia, Marula, Borago, Centella Asiatica, Oat, Barbary Fig. Good luck!

I'm kind of afraid to put phase A over phase B. I'm making several servings, and I don't want my cream to spoil? Is there any difference in the consistency of the cream when prepared in the way you describe above? Is it different than when putting B over A?

Hello! Some emulsifiers have no claims on how to combine the phases, but according to the manufacturer's updated information, with Bella emulsifier the optimal procedure is as I have specified in this recipe.

Hello! I had this network saved a long time ago and in the preparation instructions it is specified that you pour phase B over phase A . Now in the presentation on the website it is totally the opposite, that is to say pour phase A over phase B. How is this correct? What ingredient dictates how the phases are mixed, the emulsifier? Thank you.

Hello! We recommend for age 30+. You can eliminate ceramides, as a substitute we would recommend acmella extract, but you can also eliminate this ingredient by increasing the dosage of Caprilis accordingly.

Hello! For what age category do you recommend this cream approximately? And if I remove ceramides from the recipe, what could I use instead?or is it possible without it and then it should be adjusted to oil? Thanks!

Dear Anett, we are so glad you like our recipe! You can use cornflower water, as it has nothing to do with wheat. Vegetable keratin is derived from wheat, is supposed to be gluten free and is only used on hair/skin, but should be avoided for people with celiac disease or gluten allergies. Have a nice day!
