Hello Iulia, The product will thicken in the last phase after adding the amount of salt. We recommend not substituting essential oils with other essential oils or fragrances, as they may affect the consistency of the product.

Hello, I have tried the recipe twice, following the instructions regarding the quantities, as well as the heating temperature (we did not go over 70 degrees). Unfortunately in both cases, phase A turned into an aqueous solution, not a homogeneous paste. After cooling, the product kept the same consistency. Can you clarify where I could have gone wrong? Thanks!

Hello I've been using this shampoo for many years (8 years) but I thought it would be necessary to change but I don't know what other shampoo to use. I have problems with hair loss, my hair is very thin, electrifies and is very oily. I was thinking of making my hair loss mask but please if you can recommend a shampoo as well. Thanks

Hello Brigitta, In this formula it is not possible to substitute surfactants for the shampoo base. For shampoo based recipes we recommend you to take inspiration from the product recipes. best wishes!

I think so, because the person has dyed hair. Thanks for your answer! Have a nice day!

Hello! Very interesting what you report. The recipe doesn't contain any substances that would coat the hair, there is little chance that essential oils would have such an effect. We're thinking that perhaps the shampoo doesn't actually yellow the hair, but removes some of the cool-toned layer of the hair dye (i.e. washes out too well) and thus reveals the yellower blonde in the original.

Hello! I made this shampoo which suits very well a person with oily hair and scalp. However, this person has silver-blond hair and says that this shampoo makes the hair yellow :) What could I add or remove to eliminate this inconvenience? Thanks in advance for your reply!

I used hibiscus macerate instead of plain water. The final product remained with PH 5-5,5, it got a light brown color, the consistency is viscous (as specified in the recipe, due to the salt).3 days after the shampoo production, the color faded a little, the foam and air bubbles were eliminated, the consistency and smell remained the same.

Hello! Yes, you can use macerate instead of water. Changes related to keratin and collagen can be achieved. We suggest increasing the dosage to 1% cosgard in this case. Good luck!

Hi, if I use a macerate instead of water, is it ok? I also want to decrease the keratin, like 5 gr keratin and the difference collagen, is it ok? The macerate I made last night, from sikakai, kapoor, and amla.

Yes, it can be used after adjusting with lactic acid, watch out for visible separation of the composition, which would mean that it will not be microbiologically stable either.

Hello! I have not modified the recipe, but in the idea that I adjust it with lactic acid, can you still use it?Thanks!

Hello! The viscosity can be influenced by a higher dosage of essential oil, as well as the color towards milky. Caffeine doesn't crystallize that quickly, it takes some time. If you have not made any changes to the recipe, the pH should not be too different from that indicated; you can add a little more lactic acid.

Good evening! A day after preparing the shampoo (which was clear at the time of preparation) I noticed that it changed its viscosity (lower) and color (yellowish white, milky). I checked the pH at the end of preparation and indeed it seemed a little higher (the indicator paper is not very accurate). In these conditions can it still be used? Thanks! All the best!
