1. Prepare phase A: premix the water with the chelator, premix the xanthan gum with propanediol, add the xanthan slurry to the water and stir until a gel is formed.

2. Heat phases A and B separately on a water bath to 75°C in heat-resistant beakers. When both phases have reached the right temperature, remove from heat.

3. Add phase B to phase A with mixing, continue to mix until smooth. Add phase C and mix thorough.

4. Place the beaker in a bowl of cold water and mix until the emulsion has formed.

5. Cool down under 40°C, add phase D ingredients and mix thoroughly until uniform.

6. Transfer the preparation to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final on the next day.

Choose a stable Vitamin C formulation to help protect the skin from stressors such as air pollution and uv radiation, to boost radiance and help give the skin a smoother, firmer appearance.

Apply daily, preferably in the morning, as a moisturiser. If you have dry skin, you can also apply your moisturiser after this fluid.

Hello Adeline, The most suitable oils to replace Borago oil would be: evening primrose, white lily, myrtle, camellia or marula oil.

Hello! Thank you for the wonderful recipes that you provide! I have been using them for more than 8 years now and I can say that I would never go back to store-bought cosmetics. Regarding this recipe, can it be applied to the eye area? If not, can you please recommend a vitamin C cream that works for both the face and eye area? Thank you in advance!
