Hello! We recommend 5-7 drops each of both essential oils, subtract 0.2 gr from squalan. Good luck!

Good evening, I would like to add a few drops of frankincense oil and a few drops of lavender oil. 1) How many drops per 30 ml of each oil; 2) Do I subtract the amount from something else in the recipe or just add them? Thank you very much,

All right, thanks a lot for the advice. It helps a lot. Keeping in mind the texture of the murumuru butter, I think it would help to also decrease its percentage and compensate with oil to get a similar texture.

Murumuru is perhaps the best choice, we also recommend replacing wheat germ oil with a lighter one such as jojoba, caprilis, macadamia, squalan, squalane, vegetable silicone, kukui, cucumber.

For a less greasy texture, do you recommend to use murumuru butter or replace another oil in the recipe?

Hello! The recipe is fine, but perhaps too oily to be suitable for all skin types. Be careful with the dosage of the chamomile extract, which is highly concentrated, use no more than 0.3%.

Hi there, I thought I'd reformulate the recipe a bit so that it can be used on any skin type (dry, normal, combination. Hello Alexandra! We estimate that 10% emulsifying olive wax would be fine.

Hello, lovely this cream, could I add emulsifying olive wax to change the texture a bit? Please also let me know what percentage, so it's not too greasy! I've read that you use about10- 20% in anhydrous products. Thanks in anticipation for the reply!

Hello! You can use both of the suggested combinations. We suggest you prepare a smaller test amount first. Good luck.

Hello Lorena! For oily preparations you can't use xanthan or guar gum, but beeswax would be a good choice, 2-5 gr per 50 ml cream.

Hello. It's a rather oily textured cream, not optimal for daytime, but if you have dry skin you can try it by applying a small amount on slightly damp skin and see how it suits you.

5% waxing lowering the percentage of oils would be ok? Thank you.

You can achieve a higher viscosity in these types of formulas by adding beeswax, or by using a more consistent butter.

I prepared after this model a cream with murumuru butter 54%, kukui oil 20%, tamanu oil 18%, extra chamomile 0.3%, extra acmella 2%, extra schizantra 2%, bisabolol 1%, ue petit grain 0.4%, ue tea tree 0.4%, ue smirna 0.5%, ue fragonia 0.5%, ue geranium 0.4%, vit E 0.5%. It only solidifies in the refrigerator, at room temperature it liquefies. How could I increase it? Thanks! Good day!
