1. In a heatproof beaker add the ingredients of phase A and heat on a water bath until the surfactant dissolves. Stir slowly in the meantime. When a homogenous solution has formed remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
2. To phase A add phase B ingredients one at a time, stirring well after each. Avoid excessive foaming.
3. Measure the pH and adjust as necessary with glycolic acid or arginine, for an optimal value of 4.3 - 4.8
4. Add phase C, stir and transfer the resulting solution to a foamer bottle.
Using a glycolic acid cleanser is a good way to introduce exfoliating acids into the routine because the contact time with the skin is shorter than with a serum or toner.
It gently exfoliates, deeply cleanses the skin and helps renew it. It is suitable for blemished, acne-prone, mature, dry skin. Use in the morning and evening, applied to the face in circular motions, then rinse off.
