Cleansing milk, combination/oily acneic skin
Formula: 12709 Difficulty level: medium Shelf life: min 3 months pH optimal: 5.0-5.5

Phase Ingredients Dosage % Total 100 gr
A Emulsifier Alfa 7 7 gr
A Chaulmoogra oil 20 20 gr
B Pure / distilled water 47,6 47,6 gr
B Lavender water 20 20 gr
B Xanthan gum 0,4 0,4 gr
C Decyl Surfactant 3 3 gr
C Decalact 1,2 1,2 gr
C Eucalyptus Lemon essential oil 0,2 0,2 gr (6 drop)
C Cosgard 0,6 0,3 gr

1. In a glass add the liquid ingredients of phase B, over which gradually sprinkle the xanthan gum and stir vigorously until completely dispersed. Set aside for gel formation, during which time prepare phase A.

2. In a bowl add the Alfa emulsifier and mix for about 20 seconds then add the oils a little at a time, similar to making a mayonnaise. The composition should gradually harden into a viscous gel.

3. Add the contents of phase B little by little over phase A, mixing well.

4. Add the ingredients of phase C in turn, stirring thoroughly after each.

5. Measure the pH value and adjust if necessary.

6. Transfer the composition to the dedicated container. The consistency will be final on the next day.

A gentle cleansing milk, particularly suitable for combination or oily skin with blemishes and acne-prone skin.

Hello Laura, Yes, you can use Fragard 0.6%. Measure the pH and adjust as needed not to exceed 5.5. Have a sunny day!

Hello! You can use powdered coconut tenside, about 1 gr, no prior dissolving in water is necessary for this recipe; supplement the dosage appropriately to the plain water in phase B.

Hello Dana. You can also prepare the recipe without tenside (increase the amount of water in phase B appropriately), it will result in a simple emulsion, but which can also be used for cleansing.

Alpha emulsifier works without heating, and unfortunately cannot be replaced by any other emulsifier in our offer.

Hello Ana Maria. For cosmetics prepared at home, especially those that also contain water, we recommend a shelf life of up to 3 months, even if the preservative used in the recipe is potent, as home conditions are different from those in a laboratory. Cosgard is a preservative also used in industrially prepared cosmetics, and provides an average shelf life of 12 months at a dosage of 0.6-1%, depending on the formula.

Hello, I have only tested this formula with xanthan, but theoretically you can use guar gum, a little more, but not having tested it in practice we can't give you an exact percentage.

Hello! Can I replace essential oils with bisabolol? (Would it be advisable to replace it considering that make-up remover doesn't stay on the face very long?) Thank you.

Hello, The answer is yes, you can replace sesame oil with hemp or aloe vera oil. You can possibly take inspiration from the MC12705/2012 formula to make a cleanser for dry skin.
