Hello Nadia, This formula, as the ingredients and name suggest, is a paste and not a cream. It is recommended to be used topically on the targeted areas, it cannot be spread like a cream on the skin. Rethinking the recipe does not bring the expected result, namely the creation of a sunscreen cream. To create a sunscreen cream, we recommend you take inspiration from the BB-cream-7-in-1 recipe

Hello! Based on this formula, I would like to make a sunscreen cream. I am doing a rejuvenation treatment with tretinoin and my complexion has become very sensitive, it stings to almost any cream. Do you think the following formula is okay? Distilled water Propanediol 5% Propanediol 5% Olliva 8% Zinc oxide 15 -20 % Hydrophilic pigments red, yellow, black PE preservative / cosgard 1% Which of the 2 preservatives would have a lower irritant potential? I didn't consider Fragard because, being essential oil based, it could sting. Thank you and wish you a prosperous year!

Hello, Due to the high pH value, the only more skin-friendly preservative we can recommend would be Fragard in the same percentage, but we have not tested it.

Hello! Can I add Softdermo or another more skin friendly preservative instead of Cosgard? What is the dosage in this case?

Hello, Since the paste, already at the time of preparation is already semi-solid, it is not pourable in tubes of balm. I have not tested adding oily, fat-soluble ingredients to this recipe.

Hello! Is it possible to add beeswax to make the composition suitable for a tube, like for lip balms?

Hi Alina, Yes, you can add this ingredient, we recommend no more than 5% BHA in total in phase B, decreasing the amount of water accordingly. Good luck!
