1. Premix the glycerin with the xanthan gum, add the mixture to the Phase B water, and stir vigorously.
2. Heat Phase A and Phase B ingredients separately up to 70°C in heat-resistant beakers using a water bath. Once both phases have reached the target temperature, remove from heat.
3. Add the Phase A mixture into Phase B while mixing, and continue mixing until fully homogenized.
4. Place the beaker in a vessel with cold water and mix until a smooth, shiny, and uniform emulsion forms.
5. When the composition has cooled down below 40°C, add Phase C ingredients and mix thoroughly until homogeneous.
6. Transfer the resulting cream into the designated container. The final consistency will stabilize by the following day.
The formula combines hydrating, nourishing, and emollient ingredients. Featuring a lightweight texture, the cream is suitable for both facial and body care, as well as an aftershave.
Another fragrance oil of choice can be used. Shea or cupuaçu butter can be substituted for murumuru butter.
