Description

Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) is an essential oil with an unusually simple composition: over 98% methyl salicylate, a single active compound that dictates everything, the olfactory profile, the mechanism of action, the applications, and the contraindications. Methyl salicylate is essentially metabolized into salicylic acid, the active principle of aspirin, which explains why Wintergreen is traditionally used for muscular and joint comfort.

It is a massage and localized intervention oil par excellence, not meant for face care, not for the diffuser as a primary ingredient, and not for general care routines. However, in its specific applications, the comfort it brings to contractured muscles or joints experiencing discomfort is practically unparalleled in the palette of essential oils.

air Olfactory profile: Intense, medicinal, sweetish-fresh, with camphorous notes and a distinctive coolness. Comforting and penetrating.

Ingredients: Wintergreen Essential Oil (Gaultheria Procumbens Leaf Oil)
100% pure and natural, E.O.B.B.D. botanically and biochemically defined, full spectrum, unfractionated, undiluted

Very good in formulations for the treatment of inflammation, but not only. And the smell is extraordinary! I like it so much, I bought Gaultheria plants. It combines so well with other scented oils!

This oil is a must in my kit. I always have a roll on in which I put a few pucks of wintergreen, bucuioc, mint, lavender supplemented with vegetable oil (caprilis or something else if I don't have it). Passes the headache or neuralgia instantly.

I don't know what it can be combined with, and I couldn't say it's a bad product, but the odor is horrible (to my taste, at least). It's also very strong.

The medicinal, slightly prickly notes don't inspire me to use it on steam bath, but in therapy creams on joint pain/tired legs, it works very well.

Strange name! Isn't it simpler (and more national) to promote the Romanian language - peach oil? Thanks!

It is a very good oil, it corresponds to the description. It has a fresh, intense flavor. I gave 4 stars not for quality, but for quantity. In the 10 ml bottle there was no more than 9 ml. I measured the quantity and indeed I was not wrong. I thought that it had leaked through the package during transportation, but I found that the other bottles were not full. I hope it was just a mistake. I have ordered volatile oils on the site before and all the time the bottles were full. Anyway, congratulations again for bringing quality products to the market :)
