Licorice Extract – traditional ingredient for oral care and cosmetic formulations
Licorice Extract is a traditional ingredient valued in oral care formulations and general cosmetics, where it contributes to a feeling of freshness and comfort.
It is obtained from dried roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis via supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. The extract is standardized with MCT (coconut) oil to a minimum content of 8.5% isoflavones.
Ingredients (INCI): Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

Very good in complexion brightening/ anti-peel cosmetics. Melts easily and leaves no odor or color in the cream.
Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-aging, helps reduce UVA-induced photoaging, helps control halitosis by inhibiting the growth of oral pathogens.
I am ordering this product for the first time. I haven't gotten to use it in any combinations but the way it smells is absolutely superb: sweet, spicy, gourmand, slightly smoky. Used as a note in many famous perfumes. I will definitely order it again.
I use it in vitamin c cream for blemished skin and I am very happy with the results. I recommend it.

I use it for atopic skin and am happy with the results. I don't use perfumes for this type of skin but the licorice scent is pleasant.
I've been buying this product for a long time and have always been pleased with it as with many of the products here, but on my last order I was very disappointed,it is visibly diluted.
