- Broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal preservative, ensures the preservation of cosmetic preparations containing an aqueous phase
- Functions as a natural alternative to synthetic preservatives
- Useful as a topical antimicrobial when addressing problem skin or scalp conditions
- Innovative product that provides the formulator the opportunity to capitalize on both the natural antimicrobial properties, as well as its ability to provide potent moisturizing benefits to the cosmetic formulation
- Compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients
- Very mild, with low to no irritation potential
- Virtually odorless
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
- Preservation of emulsions: creams, lotions, milks
- Preservation of hygiene products: shampoos, shower gels, makeup removers, cleansers, deodorants
- Preservation aqueous gels, toners, serums
- Ideal for use in moisturizing, skin and scalp conditioning, and antimicrobial applications
- Add to the final phase of the formulation and mix well to homogenize
- Recommended use level: 2-4%
- Effective for pH ≤ 9
- Solubility: soluble in water and glycols, immiscible with oils
