Organic Dark Brown Henna is a synergistic blend of plant powders and ayurvedic herbs (Indigo, Henna, Reetha, Amla, and Shikakai) sourced from certified organic farming. This blend is designed not only to provide hair with rich dark brown, chocolate, or warm brunette shades without synthetic dyes, but also to deeply condition the hair fiber. While Indigo and Henna pigments coat the hair shaft in a protective layer, Amla, Reetha, and Shikakai deliver vitamins, antioxidants, and natural saponins that purify the scalp, strengthen the roots, and add shine.

Results Based on Base Hair Color
- Medium brown hair: Tones to a rich dark brown with warm chocolate highlights.
- Dark brown or black hair: Evens out the color, intensifies dark brown tones, and imparts exceptional shine.
- Blonde or light brown hair: Provides a dark brown shade (a prior strand test is recommended on very light hair to evaluate processing time and final shade).
- White or gray hair: Covers gray hair in warm dark brown/brunette tones. For a high percentage of gray hair, best results are achieved using a two-step coloring method: first a base layer with Red Henna, followed by the application of the Dark Brown Henna product.

Preparation and Application Guide
- Indicative Dosage: Short hair / Roots: approx. 30 g - 50 g powder; Medium hair (shoulder-length): approx. 100 g powder; Long hair: 150 g - 200 g powder.
- Paste Preparation: In a non-metallic bowl (glass, ceramic, or plastic), mix the powder with warm water (at approximately 50°C; avoid boiling water, as excessively high temperatures can alter the Indigo pigment) until a smooth paste with the consistency of thick sour cream is obtained. Apply immediately after preparation, without long steep time.
- Application: Apply the warm paste to clean (previously washed with shampoo only, no conditioner) and dry or slightly damp hair. Distribute generously, section by section, from roots to ends using protective gloves.
- Processing Time: Cover head with a plastic shower cap or plastic wrap and wrap with a towel. Leave on for 1 to 4 hours, depending on the desired color intensity.
- Rinsing: Rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water only until the water runs clear. Avoid using shampoo for the first 24-48 hours after application, as the pigment continues to develop its full shade and lock in through air oxidation.
Recommended Synergies and Blends
- To intensify cool/dark tones: Can be additionally combined with Amla or Indigo powder.
- To maintain and lock in color: Subsequent hair washing using shikakai/jujube powder instead of classic shampoo is recommended.
Precautions and Recommendations
Strand Test: Performing a prior test on a hidden strand of hair is recommended to evaluate the final shade, especially on light, chemically bleached, or permed hair.
Precautions: For external cosmetic use only. Wear gloves during application, as the product stains skin and nails. Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not inhale. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage: Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
